    I was given a promised installation date, but unfortunately the job was later cancelled.Comment On March 1, 2023, I received a proposal from Conserva Irrigation of Delaware Valley to install my irrigation system in late May. Wanting to confirm a firm start date, I contacted the company and spoke to ***. Unfortunately, *** informed me that they had to cease the installation of irrigation systems due to an unprecedented labor shortage. They will only focus on opening and closing procedures and repair work. *** assured me I would receive my refund check within a few days.As time passed, I didn't receive my refund check, so I emailed the company again on May 30, 2023, to inquire about the status of my money. ****, the operations manager, replied that I should receive my refund on June 10, 2023, in two weeks. However, no check arrived by June 12, 2023, and several calls to the company went unanswered. I sent another email, stating that if I didn't receive my refund by June 14, 2023, I would file a complaint with the BBB, the ** *********************** of ******** Protection, and leave a poor rating online.Finally, on June 14, 2023, I received an email from the company stating that my refund check had been issued.I haven't received my refund check as of 6/24/23. My next step is to take legal action in small claims court.
