Set up with ***** on 4/20/24 to get my Suburban for detailing because I was selling it. Initially he was prompt in response and they offered to come pick up my vehicle. Got it back timely and overall it looked great just extremely greasy, floor mats had a lot of armor all or whatever cleaner on them. Paid $300 cash for the detailing services.Main issue came up the next day on 4/21/24 when I had a warning light come on that my front lane departure camera wasnt working. I tried diagnosing myself thinking maybe some cleaner got in the camera (one behind rearview mirror) but found nothing. Texted ***** the next day (4/22) to see if he knew what happened and he stated it wasnt anything they did. Ive had this suburban for 7yrs/114k and NEVER had this issue, so clearly was related to the detailing service.Next day took it in to ***** dealer on 4/24 and after spending a day in the shop they discovered that the floorboards where still soaked from the detailing. The service advisor said they still found standing water on the floorboards so they had to pull all the mats and use fans to try and dry everything out. And the wiring harness for the camera was under there and they found the wires had corroded and shorted out causing the issue. Cost $508 in labor/diagnosing to fix.Texted ***** multiple times but never even responded. Told him he could even reach out to the ***** dealer directly if he wanted to hear from them (they clearly stated this was the fault of the detailer). Texted ***** to even just do a half refund, which still wouldnt even come close to cover my damages but nothing.Disappointed any business owner is that eager to take our business/money but wont even respond to a complaint once it goes bad. Have attempted multiple times to reach ***** but he does not respond. However the moment I posted an online review on ****** he did respond to that within minutes, basically claiming it wasn't their fault.
