I purchased embroidery machine, have had numerous issues, the computer is not responding to my requests. I called to get help and was told the owner would call next day which was yesterday. Its 12:40 and still have not heard from her. I have gone to classes for the machine and the person supposedly teaching the class has not been there. I tried to return the machine within the first month or two, but ***** the owner refused and said she would help. I also purchased a software for about 800.I tried to get help to learn how to use it, she told me she sends designs to a company to make because its easier. Too bad she didnt say that prior to the purchase. I have had problems getting her to call. This has been going on about a year now. I want my money back so I can get a different machine from someone else.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/19/2023

Regarding the complaint from *******************************, we did service the machine and when she picked it up she received both samples of sewing and embroidery done on her machine to verify functionality. When she contacted ** with her difficulties we asked her to schedule a time when she could come in with the machine so that we could sit down and sew on the machine with her in the store and try to resolve any issues. She has not (or is not willing) to meet with ** to try and resolve this issue.

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:

If this business is trying to now invite me to bring my machine back, it was not the tact ***** took with me over the phone, she just argued that the machine was fixed.  So I had no choice but to request my other Bernina machine be returned to me. This is all we talked about on the phone.  She did not choose to approach me in the store when I picked up my machine, ignored me completely while I did my business at the register.  Then she  said Have a nice day  while I struggled to get myself and my machine through the door.  The store was empty of customers.
The sample that was sent with my machine was a narrow zig zag, Bernina 180 is a 9mm machine and the test patch should have been a wide stitch. The stitches were not forming on the outside. They actually missed the fact that my machine was not fixed. Poor repair, poor service.
