I arrived at Luther Honda Hopkins on 8/3/24 for a 9am appointment to look at a 2023 Nissan Altima SL I found on their Website. I should have walked out after the initial experience with the sales guy. He couldn't get the QR code to work on my phone, so he said he would enter my information manually. OK, no big deal. He stated my address was wrong in their system so he needed to change it. Why would my information be in their system as I have never bought a car there? It was because he was changing someone else's information. Anyways, I really liked the car so I did end up purchasing it. As I was driving it off the lot, the seat belt warning started dinging and would not stop unless it was buckled. There was nothing on the passenger seat. I figured I would bring it in another day as I had been there for 4 hours and had somewhere to be. On my way home the oil change warning came on. Upon changing the oil, it was clear it had not been changed in some time. A couple of days later, the battery died. This is a car with 25,000 on it and is only a year old. I spoke with Debbie (sales manager) and she said she would issue a refund check overnight and that they would take care of the seatbelt warning as it is a safety concern. They sent someone to pick my car up and give me a rental. That was 9 days ago. I spoke with her again via text on 8/27 wanting an update. I have not heard from her since. Still no refund for the battery and oil change, and I still do not know what is going on with my car. Horrible communication and it is nearly impossible to get any kind of response.

I purchased a used Buick from Luther Hopkins Honda at the end of January. I brought it in a month later for a heating issue. When I was leaving, I asked the service person if he could look at my liftgate as the key was not opening it. He said I needed a new key and to drive up front. Once there, a salesman came out and asked what he could help me with. I told him service sent me up to get a new key to fix my liftgate as it wasn't opening. I gave him the key. He said it probably needs a new battery. I told him I just put a new battery in it. When he came back he told me he put a new battery in it. I explained I just put a new battery in and that service told me I needed a new key to fix my problem. I became upset at which point he walked away and said he would get somebody else to help me. Another man (Mr. Shimanski) came out handed me my key and said he put a new battery in it and he tried it and it works. I said service sent me up here to get a new key which would fix my liftgate. Both my sister and I told him many times let's go talk to the service person. Then I said, show me it works. He tried the liftgate a couple times and it never worked. He then got into the car and started using the programming screen. He told me "You do know this is a Honda dealership we don't work a lot with Buicks"+1. Again he tried the liftgate again it did not work. He told me Honda doesn't stock Buick keys. The key company will call me and make an appt. I was dismissed over and over again and totally disrespected everything I had to say repeatedly . They totally dismissed service's findings to fix my liftgate problem. When I bought my extended warranty one thing I liked was when the guy said no matter how small the problem was they'll be no problem getting it taken care of. I never thought I'd be driving home in tears and so angry over a key that was under warranty and actually having service saying I need this new key to fix my liftgate.

I brought my 2018 Honda Accord in to have a rough idle engine diagnosis. They ran ******** and found that one of the fuel injector is bad and needs to be replaced. They informed me that it is standard to replace all 4 injectors, not just the one. I agree. They ran the warranty report and found my car has just expired the 3 yrs / ***** miles basic warranty. And furthermore, fuel injectors are not part of the power train warranty. ******* worked with me to file a "goodwill program" paper asking Honda to pay for part of the repair bill. The cost for parts and labor amounts to ~$1700. ******* asked me how much would I be willing to pay for the repair and he will inform Honda. I told him I can pay $300. He got back to me the next day and says Honda is will to cover 3/4 of the repair cost and I only need to come up with $380. Needless to say I was very pleased with this. Thank you Hopkins Honda for taking care of your customers!
