    Book this Hotel with caution and confirm your reservations even if they send you access codes. Also know that they may ghost you if you have concerns.Received text message on the day of our arrival for the two rooms I had booked in April with access code for keys. Assumed we received codes, our reservations were confirmed. Showed up at 9 PM and codes did not work. We were told we had called and canceled our reservation which we did not. Unfortunately they had given our rooms away and did not have any available. Mind you this all started at 9PM, we are on motorcycles, and it is raining. Fortunately we were able to find rooms in ******** but this meant backtracking 68 miles at 10 PM (took time to connect with someone at the hotel and for them to figure out our rooms were canceled) at night on wet roads on motorcycles in an area known for its wildlife. Received email from ********* from the Nomad apologizing for the incident. He stated We will be refunding your stay and would like to help with some of the cost of your room for this evening. I sent the following request for compensation: -Credit rooms at Nomad (which they did)-Pay difference in rooms, total of $48 for the two rooms -Pay IRS mileage for 2 vehicles since we had to backtrack to Baudette then drive back through ******************* to get to our next destination. Total for 2 vehicles $182.24 I have not heard from them since I sent the email on 8/22/24. The lack of response to the two emails I have sent shows the Nomad is not concerned with customer service.
