    I purchased a Toro 22in Recycler Lawn Mower on 5/31/2024 for $571.98 from Ace Hardware in ***************, **. Ace told me to use E0 gas and to empty all gas before storing at the end of the season. I did that. The first time I started it this season it would not continue to run. *** told me to return it to the store and they would service it. They have had it since 4/24/2025, it is now 5/8/2025. The mechanic called me on 5/2/2025 and told me he can not do warranty work on the engine because they are not authorized by ******************************* and it would not be covered by the warranty anyway because it is a gas issue. I called an authorized ******************************* repair place and was told I should have kept the mower full of gas when it was stored for the winter (opposite of Ace Hardware). They will look at it but not for three-four weeks. Ace Hardware still has my lawn mower. They sent it somewhere else for repair, are not repairing it, and have not returned it to the *********** Hts store for me to pick up. I asked Ace Hardware if I can return the mower and two employees told me I could but I need to wait until my mower is back from the place they sent it for repair. I was sent to the manager to ask if I could process the return yesterday since the mower is in their custody and I need a working mower now and I made the purchase less than 12 months ago. She told me I cannot return a used mower and that the warranty is not good because it is a gas issue. This is so frustrating. Ace Hardware and the ****** and ******** mechanics are saying opposite things and then not upholding the warranty because they are saying it is a gas issue so nobody is responsible. Also, I cannot find a contact for either Toro or ****** and ******** support. Both ******** you to an authorized dealer.
