My fiancé just won a bid on a vehicle last Sunday. We started driving and the car was jumping and shaking engine light was flashing and would let me get up to speed. He had called and spoke to somebody and they basically told him he was screwed because the check engine light wasn’t on when we left the property. I’m almost positive that they reset all the codes because we checked with obd2 scanner not even 10 minutes outside of town and 10 different codes popped up. Now the vehicle won’t even start. had to have it towed. And it sounds like the engine is bad, along with problem with crankshaft and cam shaft. But yet I have the picture on their website saying no known transmission or engine problems. It also states that it gets up to highway speeds no problem which is not true at all because it would barely let me go 30 mph before. Otherwise if you hit the gas it just revved and wouldn’t speed up. A total lemon. Very disappointed.

K-Bid, in my experience, typically lists vehicles with "KBB value" even when vehicles have a rebuilt title or other major mechanical issues. They post on the listings, "vehicle sold as-is" but also say things such as "vehicle drove up to highway speeds with no noticeable mechanical issues". There seem to be many vehicles listed this way that have severe mechanical issues such as cracked engine blocks or collision damage.
Essentially, if you're bidding withouth thoroughly having a vehicle inspected, don't be surprised if they screw you over.
    Horrible company with horrible ethics.

The only bidder registered with this name on K-BID.com has never placed a bid and has not logged into his K-BID bidder account since March 2022! It's unknown what prompted this complaint.K-BID strongly encourages bidders to inspect lots (especially ones they potentially may bid thousands of dollars on), prior to placing a bid.

I have placed bids plenty of times and have purchased sever times on K-BID, so your claim that I have never placed a bid is incorrect. I have not logged in, and have not bid, since March 2022 due to previous bad experiences with K-BID. I just logged in now, and as I fully expected, bidding has now been disabled on my account. This further shows the poor business practices K-BID uses. Essentially if you say anything negative they ban your account. I have NEVER won a bid that I didn't complete the transaction. DO NOT claim that I have not made bids and DO NOT claim that I have not purchased from K-BID in the past. I will happily provide proof of both.

I think K-BID is a joke. I know people bid there own cars up for a fact , They do it on K-BID auctions and on EBAY and who knows where else. So don't let them try and fool you. They are just as dishonest as the next person. They will also block you from bidding only to charge you an outrageous reinstating fee . They should be sued.

***** doesn't have a bidder named ********************* with email *********************** ***** prohibits affiliate or sellers from bidding on lots in their own auctions. *****'s penalty for failing to honor bids is very clear and prominently placed. Bidders must agree to our terms prior to placing a bid.

We are sorry to hear you've been dissatisfied with your vehicle purchases. This is the first time we've been made aware that you had issues. As a good customer of ***** (you have 123 paid invoices), you know ***** does not conduct auctions, we own the auction software and manage the website. If you have a complaint, you need to direct it to the affiliate conducting the auction. Your complaint should not be against *****..

They promote fraud with their affiliates, I know affiliate who bid their own auction up which is illegal but kbid doesn't care, when seeking through affiliates they have encouraged me to bid the item up to what I want to get for it so the next bid takes it

This is not true and this person does not exist in our database. We have strict policies against affiliates, their agents or sellers bidding on their own assets.

Nobody is on the same page. Was emailed with different answers on what to do. This is a copy of a email I sent requesting to try to reach an understanding.
This is the 2nd time that I contacted you. I just wanted to know if we can still work together. I won some items a while back during the bad snow storm. I was heading down to pick up my items and my truck broke down and unable to make it in time. I called and told him what happened. He said that he couldn't hold it for me and that you would resell it I said ok. The next day I got a email that I could get it the items next Friday. Aweek later. I believe it was 2 days later on Monday that you emailed me you closed / disabled my account. In order to open it I would pay for the items and be charged a fee besides. Couple of days later I got a email asking what happened. I still have not heard back. I am willing to purchase from you again. But I am not going to pay for the items and fees. The weather was terrible and that my truck broke down wasn't my fault. I was going to pick it up that following Friday like the email said I could. Then you closed my account. Make up your mind. If you want to reopen my account I will be willing if don't I don't care either. Just be kind enough to let me know there are quite a few things coming up that I would bid on.
They refused to help I have more emails if interested.

This claim was filed against the wrong company. ***** owns the auction software and manages the website, we do not conduct auctions. The company this individual is referring to is The Moonshine Shoppe.

I was trying to bid on a item and was told my account was disabled. The auction was about to end so I was a bit panicked. It was after hours so I could not contact customer service. I decided to create a 2nd account and it was blocked as well.I had aways been in good standing, all invoiced are paid on-time and never had even one issue. The auction ended and the seller did not even know they lost money because I was prevented from bidding

The bidder has registered for multiple bidder accounts over the years. Every time a current bidder, registers for a new bidder account, both accounts are disabled until the accounts can be reviewed for suspicious activity. Unfortunately, this bidder wanted to place a bid on something after our business hours and discovered he couldn't due to both his old and his new bidder accounts being disabled. Had he contacted ***** the next business day, we would have been able to assist him.

That was my point. My account was disabled but in good standing. I did not find out until I tried to bid. There was no warning. Frantically, I set up a new account to try to bid. By disabling my account they cost the seller thousands of dollars as I was prepared to bid. This happens to every bidder at some point costing customers thousands of dollars. I am prepared to file a suit but running advertising to see how wide spread this is. Several complaints have already come in and I just started the ads. We will truly see all the customers that have been hurt during the discovery stage of a lawsuit.
