      Best Buy in Marysville Washington are using Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL's) Misleading and deceptive prices are different on shelf than at checkout. Submitted complaint with the Attorney Generals office for Washington State Consumer Protections today 4/19/2025.

      Had an online price match sent to me for prepurchase. The online rep, told me the invoice link would expire on Saturday, 5 days later. As I drive 40 mins to the store, to purchase said item, the invoice link emailed to me now says "declined". Literally went to the store an hour later. As a totaltech member, I am very upset they are not allowing me to purchase item at price-matched rate that was on the invoice.

      Terrible customer service. Do NOT enroll in My Best Buy Total. Biggest waste of money. Covers nothing. Coverage recently changed and it is terrible. Multiple issues and they will not help. Instead of sending someone to look at my sound bar which is covered under this warranty, they are asking me to unmount my TV to unmount my soundbar so that I can bring it in to the store! Such backwards ways of thinking and their managers are a joke. No common sense. Will never buy appliances or electronics from here again.

      I spent $200.00 for a 65" TV setup. The Geek Squad then charged me $49.99 TO PLUG IT INTO A SOUND BAR and toggle switch to ON so that the volume can be controlled on the remote. This took all of 2 minutes, REALLY for $49.99? I would like a refund but finding someone to facilitate is impossible!

      Ordered a gas dryer for install. Bought the install kit and paid for installation. The installation and install was for April 10, 2025. When installers arrived on April 10, 2025 they came in and said they needed to install a more expensive vent unit than what was supplied by Best Buy. Also they needed a permit for this installation. Now this company was hired by Best Buy. The unit that Best Buy supplies is not UL listed. The company will only install UL listed vents. They tried to sell me a vent and permit for 350.00 more, payable that day. I called Best Buy right away, they acted like they didn't know anything. The contractor from BYI, Best Yet Installations got on phone with the representative and explained everything. Asked if I wanted to continue with install, I said yes. In the mean time try calling building department, located in my town, to get answers on permit. Informed they were in meeting. Called Best Buy again got another representative and she basically told me to hire my own plumber. I told her I paid for installation. The contractor named Alex, from BYI said they run into this at least once a week. Best Buy sells installation services knowing these vents are not usable by installers or this is a deceptive tactic by parties involved with installation services. This practice needs to be looked in to

      This will be the last time I purchase anything for Best Buy especially with an extended warranty. I have wanted all week for someone with the geek squad to come and look at our washer. After calling them yesterday were supposed to have called us back (still waiting). Now we call back this morning and was told that someone would call us in 24hrs. Ughhhh

      I had the Geek Squad come to my ho.e and break my brand new printer. Best recommended to give me a 100 dollar gift card to replace a almost 300 dollar printer. They have given me excuses since may of 2024 without a resolution. They have started a claim and haven't reach out within a 72 hrs period. Go figure ??

      Warning: Do Not Purchase Geek Squad Certified Refurbished iPads I bought a Geek Squad certified refurbished iPad on March 7, 2025 and now it won't charge. Best Buy only stands by their certification for two weeks. On April 11, 2025 Customer service advised me to contact Apple, despite their advertisement claiming the product is Geek Squad certified.

      On April 4, I ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max (Desert Titanium, 512 GB) from Best Buy’s website. It showed in stock, and I received an order confirmation with a delivery date of April 9. On April 9, I was notified the phone had not shipped. The new estimated delivery window was April 10–13, with a refund if not delivered by April 23. That same day, the pending charge from Best Buy disappeared from my bank account, which raised concerns about inventory accuracy. I called customer service. The first rep confirmed the phone was no longer available and offered to exchange it for another color. She began processing the exchange but the call disconnected. I received no follow-up, despite them having my information. When I called back, the next rep refused the exchange, claiming it was never an option. I was repeatedly interrupted and denied access to a supervisor because they were “in meetings.” I canceled the order myself online. Later, when I attempted to upgrade through Verizon directly, I was blocked. A Verizon representative explained that Best Buy failed to transmit the user licensing agreement, which created a “pending order” on my account. Since no device was attached, it couldn’t be removed normally. A ticket had to be submitted to Verizon’s advanced IT team, delaying my ability to purchase a new phone. Also, while I was never formally charged (the original pending charge dropped), the cancellation confirmation only referenced the AppleCare amount, not the full pending charge value. This inconsistency raises further concerns about Best Buy’s billing transparency. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Best Buy’s order system, internal communication, and coordination with carrier partners were completely unreliable. I strongly recommend avoiding carrier device upgrades through their platform. Shoutout to Ernie at Verizon, who was professional, empathetic, and helped clean up the mess Best Buy left behind.

      We made a purchase of $399.99 for a laptop on March 25 , 2025 at Best Buy store in midland Texas within 1 hr we canceled the purchase have called the Greek squad that’s where we were told to call for a refund it’s April 9, 2025 the last 4 days my refund has been issue the bank has not received any refund from them this experience has been nothing but disappointment we will never do business with Best Buy I will advise my family and friends of this issue
