    Aspen Waste Management sent out a postcard stating that garbage service would receive the 6 months free and then pay $14.99. They delivered the container on June 15, 2022. I called to clarify the agreement and the costs were well above what was stated on the cards. The card does not mention that the 6 months would lock me into a 2 year contract. It also did not state that there were additional fees such as taxes and fuel costs that would fluctuate. Instead it implies that the cost listed is the fixed cost of services. I called them less than 24 hours after the container was delivered and spoke with two people. The first person disconnected me. The second personal ******* (spelling?) stated that he also believed the card was misleading and he understood why I thought i would be the first 6 months is free. He shared that he would cancel the service and apologized for the misunderstanding. He shared that other customers called in because they were confused about this as well. After, I got off of the phone with him, a woman called me back and said she had spoken with her manager and the manager said I would be charged $84.00 for the cancellation. I told her that the I just spoke with someone who said it was canceled. I spoke with ****** at 1:07 pm who tells me that her boss ***** will give me a call back because they are busy at lunch hour.
