The technician who came to replace our sump pump never clarified that Sabre does not support the old system containing one main pump and a separate backup pump with a battery kit. We agreed to have the sump pump installed and the technician advised us to call the office on Monday morning and schedule an appointment for the installation of the battery backup (without explaining to us that whoever was to come would have to remove the newly installed pump and replace it with a new system that would have the main and battery back up together). The technician told us that he did not have a battery backup in his truck and did not mention that it was available, and he could have gotten it from their warehouse -thus giving us the option to decide on two alternatives regardless of the cost. The technician also told us that because the appointment we would schedule for the backup would be attached to the primary appointment, Sabre would waive the second trip fees.

They were told by the tech before he installed the pump that if he installs it Sabre wouldn't be able to take the pump back if they go with a battery back up pump and they wanted it installed anyway so he did. They called and i spoke to them my self (i am the manager) i explained to them the same thing the tech did and told them the cost of a battery back up pump would be $2,00.00 as we do not install add on back up pumps anymore due to too many failures of that type of pump. My tech did the right thing and let them make the decision and they did. He also explained to them that we do not install add on pumps we only install combo pumps.
