I joined Homes for Heroes to try and help heroes in my community & see if it would help grow my business. All the leads they sent me were no where close to my service area. My success representative changed 3 times in a year and ultimately I saw no success from this program. I decided not to renew. Apparently everyone who signs up is on auto **************************** charged me for a yearly renewal and refused to refund the full amount. Doesnt seem like a good way of doing business & very unprofessional.

Homes for Heroes is not a lead generation program. While hero assignments may be provided, they are not guaranteed. Because your Affiliate Agreement does not provide that any hero leads will be provided, much less detail distance requirements, there could not be any breach of our obligations to you related to this alleged issue and we do not see a basis to ***** your refund request. Furthermore, your contact clearly outlines the terms and conditions of contract renewal on a yearly basis.

In March 2023 I started working with a Homes For Heroes (***) Account Executive (**) to learn more about the platform and to see if it was a good fit for my business as a mortgage loan officer. He explained that Realtors and loan officers were assigned zip codes as the primary way to network and receive leads. After almost a year on the platform and after a conversation with a *** Affiliate Success Representative (***), I learned that the **'s explanation of the use of zip codes was completely inaccurate and that the zip codes did not matter (sad because I spent weeks researching). As a loan officer I would have needed to actually officially connect with a Realtor (regardless of zip code) to work with them and receive any leads that came in through the platform. The ** gave completely erroneous information when selling the program. How the program actually works was never explained - it is not on the website or in the contract. Based on the *** ** misinformation and *** failing to give any training, I used the program incorrectly with no benefit for almost a year. To make matters worse, my information as a *** member was taken off the affiliate listings page prior to the end of my contract. When I spoke with the *** about this, I was informed that this was a new policy (to remove important member benefits) put into place after I signed my contract. Again, this was never communicated in any way verbally or in writing. *** grossly misrepresented how the program actually works during the sales phase which ultimately rendered the platform useless in utilizing the most important function of said program. *** also eliminated an important membership benefit prior to the end of the contract. The use of a logo and poor quality marketing materials do not make up for this. Due to ***'s misrepresentation and breach of contract, I am requesting a full refund of $2,275.
