I purchased an octagon window from ******* in Sept. I was out of town then the weather was bad so I was going to get it insta0lled in spring. My contractor couldn't do it until July. I had it installed July 15. On July 19 moisture was forming inside the window panes. I contacted ******* and was told I had to go to the manufacturer. I sent manufacturer a complaint form and picture of the window. They called and said they would only send the replacement glass. I paid my contractor 600 dollars to install the window. Jj specialty the manufacturer now wants me to pay to have the glass replaced. Since the glass from the manufacturer wasn't sealed correctly I feel jj specialty should pay to have the glass replaced. I bought a product that was defective and feel jj specialty should pay to have it replaced. I got an estimate and it was 225 dollars to replace. I don't feel I should have to pay that. If the window wasn't defective this wouldn't be an issue. Thanks

We promptly fulfilled the terms of the warranty by sending replacement glass and stops.  The most common cause of failure is poor handling and care of the product prior to installation, or improper installation.  We did not question the handling nor whether the installation of the window was done properly. We simply fulfilled the warranty terms. Our warranty is limited in scope to the product only.

I am rejecting this response because:
The window was purchased in Sept. It was kept in my house in a safe secure room and wasn't touched until installation. My contractor put the window in correctly. The moisture is between panes in glass that clearly shows window was not properly sealed from manufacturer. I talked to Menards and they back this up. I feel I should not have to pay for the glass to be installed when I bought a defective window. I was quoted by 3 glass companies 200 to 250 to install glass. They also said it was installed correctly and the window was defective because manufacturer did not seal window correctly. I bought this window not expecting it to be defective. I shouldn't have to pay more money for a manufacturer defect.
