I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the SW National Parks & Monuments. And what a nice group of people to travel with! I was a little concerned with all the folks with walkers but they did great and certainly didn't slow us down. Actually, I see it as a positive because someday I might want to travel with a walker!
My only suggestion for improvement is to use the microphone more on the bus. A summary of the day right away in the morning when we started out would have been helpful. Also, right before a stop it would have been good to announce what we were doing and what time we should be back on the bus. Then everyone hears the same message. You started using it more at the end of the trip which was good!

Those of us in the back of the bus weren't always sure what was going on. And Sandra had a lot of questions. ??
I have a lot of positives/delighters:
-Your itinerary and written communication were excellent.
-Snacks and water on the bus was unexpected but very enjoyable.
-The hotels were all very nice.
-Loved the "special" events like the jeep ride/BBQ, train ride, and boat ride!
-Bus driver Leslie was great and so attentive to help get out the walkers, pass out water, etc.
-I was surprised you (Mike and Barb) didn't expect tips and appreciated it.
-Door to door service is a great perk!
Thank you for all you do and I hope to travel with you again!

3 starsWe really enjoyed the cruise through the Hawaii islands with Mike and Barb. The food was excellent, some of the excursions were better than others. That becomes more of a personal choice. One of our excursions had a bus break down and we ended up late to the ship. It was suppose to deport at 6 pm. However, they did wait for us past the time scheduled for sailing. One issue that was disappointing was that we ended up moving our luggage ourselves many times. We understood that luggage transfers were supposed to be managed by the tour company. In one case we had to leave all our luggage including personal items, purses etc..in a truck separate from the bus we were riding in. This was at the Pearl Harbor excursion on the last day. This did not sit well with many of our group. Also just my opinion, when the bus driver talks through the intercom, it would be nice if they would take a breath once in a while. It was difficult for passengers to have a conversation between ourselves. .The first full day after arriving in Honolulu, on our trip before embarking to the cruise, we were dropped off at the Polynesian village for a very long time, left on our own with out supervision for 9 hours waiting for dinner (ultimate Luau experience) a buffet (not great) then finally the big show ending quite late. It was way too long especially for some of the older people we were with. The last day we disembarked at 10 am from the ship , we carried our luggage off the ship waiting for our coach and a separate truck to hall our luggage. We couldn’t bring personal items in to Pearl Harbor for security. We seemed rushed there, apparently the bus driver ended his shift at four PM and that was the reason for some of these issues. We felt a bit like we were in second class accommodations when not on the ship. Mike and Barb were constantly trying to improve our situation. Everyone knew that they busted their butt throughout the trip. To keep everyone happy.Review fromDan R

We had a great trip! It was our first time traveling with Mikes team and we enjoyed it immensely We covered a lot of miles, saw a number of great sites in Gods creation and rode on trains. Yes we will use this Tour group again. Also thanks to the folks on the team, Art, Kathy, and driver Terri when my wife got sick early on and their care and compassion made a rough situation smoother.Heart of the North Tours

My husband and I recently returned from The Best of New England tour. The trip escorts were great, as was our driver. Hotels were very nice and always included breakfast. It was nice that so many other meals were also included. We enjoyed the two train rides and the Boothbay Harbor cruise. The tour at West Point was very interesting. We enjoyed the visit to the Corning Museum of Glass and the Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz Museum a lot more that we thought we would - so glad we went!! We have gone on several other trips through Heart of the North and Mike is always very helpful and answers all our questions. He truly wants people to enjoy the trips!!

5 starsWe have just returned from our first trip with Heart of the North Tours to Niagara Falls, and we had a great time! Everything was first class, from the hotels and meals to the bus hospitality! Our tour guides were the best. We feel that we experienced everything there was to do! We are looking forward to our next trip with them. It is so nice to have everything planned for us down to taking care of our luggage and taken to our rooms, we didn't have to worry about where we were staying (always a nice hotel) our meals, driving, what sites to see, buying tickets to events, taking care of any special needs. 5 starsA friend and I went on a tour to Arizona with Heart of the North Tours. This was Mike's first fly out tour. Setting up the tour with Mike was very easy. He took care of everything and was at the airport with our printed tickets and carts for those checking bags. All we had to do was go through security and get to the correct gate. Once we got to AZ our coach and driver were waiting for us right outside baggage claim. Wade was an awesome driver. He had been awarded American Association Motor Coach Driver of the Year and we could see why. He was a native of AZ, knew the area and streets well and was very courteous. The tour was well planned out and when one location canceled on us due to a winter storm, Mike filled our day with other sights. A very enjoyable trip. Looking forward to another trip with Heart of the North Tours.
