On April 24, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11(b)(1)(8) and 326B.84 (2)(12) (2022). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to only obtain permits for their own contracted projects and not projects contracted by other businesses; to only do business in their licensed name and ensure all subcontractors are properly licensed to perform the work contracted. The business will also pay $5,000.00 of a $15,000.00 fine, with the balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
