    Very happy with results! Transformed my backyard with a high quality deck. This team understood my vision and executed it. Highly recommend these guys!

    So relieved we found this company! We had a pergola built and our porch repaired to look brand new, after several other deck companies tried to charge us over 64k! **** and the team did quality work for a reasonable price. We found them thru our neighbors who also used them to repair their deck. They are mostly a referral based company. Our experience with craftsmen was excellent and will use them again for future projects.

    We hired **** from Craftsmen Decks to put up a pergola over an existing deck. After signing his contract, and paying him a down payment we had a hard time getting him to show up and work on the job. Once he did start working, we discovered his work was not appearing up to industry standard, and the integrity seemed very questionable. We brought these issues it to ****'s attention, and Instead of backing up the quality of his work, he made false claims about how we were treating him and he did not feel comfortable coming back to reassess the quality of his work. These claims were left unsubstantiated. I have his contract, his drawings, email and text chains, checked images that he cashed, etc. he left our home damaged and our yard a mess. He never finished the job. He presented himself in his contract as a general contractor. Then when he didn't want to come back anymore he said he was hired as a handyman. This contractor is not licensed, but only registered in the ******************. He states that in his defense, he is only a ********* and doesn't need to be liscensed. This leaves the consumer with no protection. But based on his contract, setting up all subcontractors, doing exterior work, doing carpentry, and cement work his claim that he does not need a license appears to be false. We paid **** over $9000 directly to him for his labor and were left with over $20,000 in unusable or damaged wood and an unfinished job. He did not perform up to industry standards and never completed the job. And he would not give ** our money back. I wish that he we had had a positive experience with Craftsmen Decks however, that was not the case for us. I felt important to put up a review so that other potential customers know what they might be getting into with this company. It is extremely stressful, disappointing and frustrating to have put a lot of money and hope into this company to ultimately have been left with nothing but damage and mess to clean up and no funds returned.
