    I too, was a charter member of the Handyman Club of America and received their HANDY magazine for a time. My life membership number is # Club MBR ******** 1 # DY. In a short amount of time, I no longer received a magazine or any other correspondence from the company. I certainly NEVER received any free tools to evaluate. It seems there are many other jilted members of this company. As part of their going out of business they should be forced to refund my lifetime membership subscription cost. I paid $395.00 for a guaranteed lifetime membership. No such luck. Off and on through the years I have tried to contact the company with no success. Can you help me recoup my losses from this company?

    I purchased a lifetime membership in the Handyman Club back in 2006 or 2007. I was guaranteed discount pricing on tools, a magazine subscription and free tools/home repair items sent to me to test every few months. After testing 2 items back in 2007, I have never received another item nor have I received any more magazine subscriptions. All of my recent attempts to contact the club in the last 5 years have gone unanswered.

    I joined the handyman club of America as a life time member and paid my membership dues in November 1997. I received my membership papers and card, membership #******, and I started receiving the Handy magazine monthly. I received the magazine and tester items for a few years and then everything stopped. I haven't received anything for several years now, and I just went online and found this site with the other complaints. So I figured I'd file a complaint whether it's too late to get any satisfaction or not I figured at least you have a record of my complaint. A refund would be appreciated just because of the way they treated me and the other members.

    My wife signed me up for a life membership, started receiving magazines and how to do books, and then nothing. Received a card in the mail stating we are in the process of updating our records if you wish to continue receiving all life benefits we need to hear from you. I went to their website and it does not exist. My life member # ********

    I have been a lifetime member of the handyman club of america since the early 2000’s. I tried reaching out in the last few months. But no info. I can’t reach anyone. I have not been able to use the benefits the club said they
    Have to offer. Also I have not received the handy magazine in many years. I feel like I’m owed a refund of my lifetime membership fees.

    I am a life member of Handyman Club of America since 03/2003, Have stop getting anything from them. I would like something done and get a refund for the life membership.

    To whom it may concern:

    I'm filling this complaint against Handymanclub.com/Handymanclub of America. I became a life member back in 2007. In which I paid $400.00 for a llife membership.

    I recently noticed couple of months back that they are no longer in business in which I though it was a joke at first.

    I'm glad i went on your site to confirm my suspicions sadly to say and realized that it was true according to your site and its testimonials.
    I hope somehow you can help me out; maybe hopefully i can help someone else in the near future in not making the same mistake I made by filling this complaint.

    I paid for a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP in June 2007 with Handyman Club of America. It cost $300. It did not seem long until the magazines and benefits disappeared. To date, I have never received any explanation or refund for their disappearance.
