    I purchased two Nixplay frames which included 10GB online photo storage among other service benefits, advertised and clearly labeled at time of purchase as free, included, and indefinite. Nixplay locked this functionality behind a $30/year subscription fee in April 2025, with the only free option capping at a tiny 500MB of photos. Attempts to contact ******* to resolve the issue have resulted in misdirection and untruths on their part regarding costs of cloud storage (which have only decreased in recent years). They have made no offers for remedy.This is a significant and material change from what was advertised and agreed to when this product was sold. The current level of ********************* was already included in the purchase I made and I would not have purchased if the upcoming subscription levels were offered at that time, nor would I have purchased if any of the marketing, documentation, or service agreements included language indicating lower levels of service could one day be imposed.Nixplay chose to defraud their existing customers with what is, without the previously promised and included service, an overpriced frame in a now-crowded market. ***** this company and its products.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    This is not an attempt at remedy from them. They aren't even acknowledging the complaint itself. They already have more than enough feedback. I'd emailed them directly in April and received only corporate boilerplate, as well as on June 3 and have received no reply at the time of this response. Many others have also been in direct communication with them and at least one legal complaint has been filed against them. Feedback is about the least of their issues, and the entirety of my complaint still stands unaddressed.

    I purchased three digital picture frames from the company, sold with features such as the ability to display pictures from a ****** Photos album. Within the last few weeks, these features were artificially removed from the device and placed behind a paywall. This material change to the devices I purchased constitutes false advertising. Due to this change, I requested from the company that either the functionality be restored, or I be able to return the devices for a full refund. They have denied both and continue to insist I pay their ****** to restore the functionality I already paid for.

    Nixplay digital frame was purchased at over $120 with an unlimited ability to download pictures onto frame. As of April 21, 2025 they require a subscription with an **** of over 20$. Unbelievable. Bait and switch

    I purchased two NixPlay photo storage frames for my mother and I. They were sold by the company with free Cloud Storage with no limits. Now ******* changed there policy after selling thousands if not millions of frames. My Frame photos are locked and NixPlay wants money to unlock and load more photos. This is extortion and deceptive sales.

    I have a previous email from the Business stating I have unlimited photo storage for my digital frame. 

    This is very deceptive.

    My Nixplay Frame is not working since they downgraded my account which should be illegal because I purchased the frame with certain specifications and now they're not delivering what was promised. I tried to contact them on the phone a message that said to contact them through there e-mail which didn't work either. This company is a fraud and should be closed down. ******* ********

    We do regret having to update our terms of service due to unsustainable storage and bandwidth costs. We do pay to be on their servers,substantially. It is not free. 

    Nearly everyone in the storage and bandwidth industry have been forced to do the same, such as ****** Photos, Amazon Photos, ***** and ********* Who all now either charge a monthly fee or in ********* case will now delete videos after 30 days. All Digital Photo frames will be adopting this subscription model in the future.

    We do have to pay substantially for bandwidth.  Piping the videos and photos between mobile to server to frame and to shared playlists etc. It has not gotten cheaper unfortunately.

    We do still offer unlimited cloud storage, but we never advertised it would be unlimited for free for a lifetime.  
    Our TOS specifically states the following:  The prices, details and availability of features provided by this Service are subject to change without notice.

    first of all I tried numerous time to contact this business both email & phone and there email doesn't work when I called it said to use email.

     I purchased the frame because of the specs and now they want us to pay a monthly fee, that's  not legal to take away something I paid for originally.

    besides that my frame doesn't  work at all since they made this change.

    I received this picture frame as a gift. My son in law downloads my grandchildrens pictures. I then purchased several more frames for other family members. There was no membership required at the time of purchase. There was no limit other than videos. We did not use the video feature. After 2 years I was no longer able to operate my frame. I was locked out. Unless I agree to pay them a subscription. This was never a subscription model. Now I can not access the frame. I have contacted the company only to have them tell me they have changed their business model. I did not agree to this change.

    ******* when purchased was sold as an unlimited digital photo storage screen and recently bait and switched their product now requiring a yearly dubsctiption for the same services that were available at the time I purchased their screen with no yearly fees

    The product was purchased in December 2024. It was advertised as a product with unlimited storage. In April 2025, they informed customers that the product will now only have half a gigabyte of storage unless they pay an annual fee. This was deceptive, and I believe it constitutes false advertising. Had I known the product would be a bait and switch, I would not have it, members of my family would not have it. This company is profiting off of deception and lies. It is outrageous, egregious, preposterous.

    Purchased a digital photo frame from Nixplay in 2020. At the time it was advertised/sold as coming with 10GB of photo storage for FREE along with compatibility with ****** Photos. At the time I did a significant amount of research and chose this frame specifically for those features that were advertised. This year, ******* has decided to change to a subscription based services including all frames that were previously sold. So they took away my 10 GB of storage and now only offer 0.5GB for free unless you pay a yearly subscription fee. That is. Complete bait and switch. If the product was advertised as such to begin with, I would not have purchased. This should be illegal false advertising. If they wish to switch to a subscription based service, that should not include all old users that made their purchases off of what are now Faldo promises by a a company that shamelessly deceived its customers.
