    We hired *************** to fertilize a tree in 2020. It's now 2024. A few months back, we found a junk email stating someone would stop by the next day to give us an estimate for tree work - unsolicited by us. We did not meet with the estimator and tossed the estimate. This week, we received an email stating, "If we do not hear from you by 3/15/24, it will be our understanding that you have reviewed the document and wish to proceed with the services within the green section (from an attached contract - unsigned by us).." The email further states, if you don't tell them you don't want their services, "We will automatically renew your PRIOR YEAR'S SERVICES..." We have never signed any contract with them. I find their business tactics highly unethical, threatening and possibly criminal. I then investigated them online and discovered many other complaints, including billing for work not performed, billing for work performed and not authorized, and sending people to collections who had work done but hadn't approved it...just to mention a few. BEWARE DAVEY TREE AT ALL COSTS!
