    I am filing a complaint due to the fact that the business pulled my credit report with out my authorization. I purchased a dirt bike from them on 3-18-2025. I then called back on April 2, 2025 and asked about a trade in for a different dirt bike. When I purchased the first dirt bike on March 18, 2025 I specifically asked if I came back to get something else would my credit be pulled and I was told as long as it was within 30 days. I then found out on April 2nd that they ran my credit through ***** which I didn't authorize or even fill out a credit application for. It shows as a hard inquiry on my credit report which lowers my credit score.

    First of all, on behalf of Moon Motorsports, I'd like to apologize if we did not meet your expectations. I have reviewed the information surrounding your complaint.  You had submitted a credit application, as you indicated in your complaint.  There was a conversation you had with ****** ****** via ******** Marketplace.  The salesperson believed he had permissible purpose, as outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) based on that exchange, to obtain the information necessary to present the deal to you on the Honda.  That included a new approval from a different manufacturer, as well as a payoff on your trade, to give you the best information possible to make a decision.

    I brought my new motorcycle tire in there to get it put onto my rim. They did it incorrectly which made me have a flat tire at the end of my work day at work. They admitted it was their wrong doing but yet still charged me to get it fixed. Thankfully I wasnt in an accident and hurt from them not doing it right. This company doesnt back their work when they were in the wrong. I would never recommend anyone to this company and the service tech ***** was very rude saying if I didnt pay for the fix I would have a problem getting my motorcycle back. Definitely was not expecting to be treated like this when they didnt do the work properly in the first place. They will not be getting my business again.
