    We hired Basement Water Solutions after our basement flooded this spring. They came out at the end of July to start work. They said it would take about 1 week. The workers only worked 3-4 hour days and then wanted to come while we were gone the next week. We didn't feel comfortable with that. As it turns out, one of the workers stole a package from our neighbors and was a known criminal as per the county sheriff. The owner of the company then came after his regular job each night for WEEKS to finish up.
    No one draped any plastic to keep down the dust- so there's concrete dust everywhere, they constantly used our tools including breaking a shovel, taking a broom and possibly a battery pack (they're replacing these things at least), and glopping silicone and concrete all over my walls and stairs. It's taken us over 25 hours to scrub and grind the stuff off our walls and floors, repaint the walls that didn't need it before, and wipe down literally everything in the basement. We've also had to fix leaks in the dimple board so our radon system remains closed, doing the outside drainage ourselves, and redoing some concrete that was very uneven.
    The shear incompetence of these guys along with just not caring that they were ruining our property was the worst thing. I'm unsure if the tile job will work, as we haven't had much rain yet, but we have a guarantee that if it doesn't work, they'll be back to ruin more of our stuff.
