    Everybody at this company seems very Charming but when it comes to moving your things they don't care about your personal belongings. Many things were broken and scratched unusual after the delivered are things to our new house. Some of the broken things they knew about but didn't tell us and when I called him out on it before they left they were like oh I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. Please please do not use these people.

    BE WARNED, doing a ** Courts MCRS search, it appears this company and its owners, *********************************, ********************************* and *************************** and is getting evicted from their office for not paying rent . The lawsuit #**-CV-24-942 is seeking $71,931.00. Their are a few other lawsuits from customers also. This is a good method to check out companies *************** them."Tenants outstanding unpaid Rent balance through February 29, 2024 is $71,931.15. This sum will continue to increase in accordance with the terms of the Lease as Tenant fails to make payments due and owing under the Lease"

    Best moving company Ive ever hired! The movers handled everything with care and were on time which I had ever expected before with moving companies. I will definitely be referring Modern Moving to all of my friends and family!

    Amazing Service - I couldn't be happier with Modern Moving. My crew was outstanding an on-time. Helpful in every facet of the way. It was a large move, going from a 5 bedroom house to another. We had lots of fragile items that the movers all took great care of as well. Everything made it safe and the crew even came in under-estimate. I will be referring them to all my friends and family.     I had a move with modern moving they damaged my machines and carpet. They claimed to open up a claim with their insurance and never got followed up on and still no communication to this day. Every time I call in my requests get ignored if I'm ever lucky to get connected with someone now stuck with $3500 in carpet repairs and $4000 in buying a new machine from the damages.

    Probably the most frustrating and borderline predatory practice this company uses is called a "live document" that they use for their estimates. I booked a move, and was at my storage facility at 7:40 waiting for the truck which was scheduled between 8 and 9 am on a Tuesday. At approximately 9:05 I called to see when the truck would be arriving. I was told the following day, Wednesday was on their schedule. I checked my estimate and Tuesday was in fact the correct day we had agreed upon. They were not able to change the date on this "live document", but the time listed had changed on this document that was in my email. Unfortunately I had not printed it out beforehand. At 12:15 pm I got a call from the driver saying he was pulling up to the storage facility. The move itself was handled in an acceptable manner, though the movers seemed to lack experience or any sense of urgency.At the conclusion of the move when we were settling the balance I asked if a small discount could be applied since they had scheduled the dates incorrectly causing the 3 hour and 15 minute late start. It was a battle to say the least to get a discount on the final bill. I was unable to see the processing of my Amex, so I entered a different card. Only to find out when I looked at my accounts they had charged both for this final charge. I called their billing department three times and never received a call back. I ended up filing a formal dispute on my **** card that had been double billed. I never received any communication from Modern Moving USA regarding the double billing or refunding that charge. I highly discourage anyone for using them for a move!!

However, we want to clarify that the double billing was a result of an unintentional over payment made by you through our online system. We did not double charge you. We apologize for any confusion caused by this situation. As soon as we became aware of the over payment through your review, we promptly reached out to you and issued a refund for the extra amount paid. Our team is committed to addressing any billing concerns promptly and effectively.We also want to address the issue of the discount on your move. We want to assure you that we had already provided you with a discounted hourly rate as well as an additional discount on your total invoice. When you requested an additional discount due to the scheduling error, we explained our policy of not guaranteeing start times and assured you that we had moved quickly to accommodate your original requested date. We also informed you that we had already provided the maximum available discount. During our recorded conversation, there was a discussion and negotiation regarding the discount, during which we made efforts to find a resolution to ensure your satisfaction. However, it is important to mention that during this time, you spent approximately 45 minutes haggling over the bill and refusing to sign the necessary paperwork, causing unnecessary delays for our movers who patiently waited for you to complete the process. We understand your desire for further discounts, but we had already offered the maximum available discount to accommodate the scheduling error.We appreciate all of your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. Our goal is to provide a smooth and satisfactory moving experience for all our customers. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused.If there is anything further we can do to address your concerns or assist you in resolving this matter, please feel free to reach out to me directly. We value your feedback and are committed to finding a resolution.Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention, and we apologize once again for any inconvenience you experienced during your move.
