    Poor service.High price. Service and work totally unacceptable. Tried to resolve with owner Mark , he was neither helpful or open to resolving. The issue. He said he would get back to me , you know how that goes.

    Complaint came in on 6/18/24.  The issue is there was a leak on a gasket between the tank and bowl of a toilet we reset.  The toilet is 19 years old.  We came out to take care of the issue and explained it is failure of a 19 year old toilet part that we cannot control.  We charged on a time and material basis and not a service call.

    Customer called and emailed.  **** spoke to customer on 6/19/24, and told him we would research to find the specific part needed to make the toilet not leak and not have any movement between the tank and bowl.  **** also told him we are open to finding a settlement on the return trip, but that it would not be for nothing, and that we cannot take full responsibility for a 19 year old part.  First we would work on finding the permanent solution.  We had a technician call the customer for more model numbers to find the part.  Manufacturer was closed yesterday afternoon, and technician was making calls this morning to find the part.

    We will agree to waive the $181 return charge, and will cease any efforts to find the parts for his toilet.  It is frustrating that we have actively been communicating with and working to find parts, and have it be reported that we have not made any effort.

    I have read the reply from Weld and Son posted on your web site . First let me clarify the facts. I called ************* day the second plumber came out to fix the leak that was supposed to to be fixed by the first plumber and of course I paid the first charge of $325.45. He was busy. I wrote him 2 emails with stated complaints I put in several calls to **** and got a hold of him on Wednesday and told him the work from the second plumber was also unacceptable because he inserted the wrong gasket which left the toilet tank unstable. The second charge of $181.00 for another repairman is what I contested and complained to **** about the loose tank. He offered me $40.00 off , this is an un honorable way of trying to get out of standing behind their work. I called my credit card company to dispute only the $181.00 charge and they are involved now .Here is what I want: I will pay for the new part with no instillation or other cost involved. I will NOT pay the $181.00 charge and if **** does not care to back up his claim of Standing Behind His Work and Service To Expect which he proudly advertises on the phone we will have a bigger problem . He needs to accept that as a customer I have every right to dispute this kind of service and he should make it right for the customer and stop focusing on the dollar issue.
