      I contacted New Ulm Dental Clinic to ask questions about a dental grind guard for my teeth. I asked a couple of questions and they stated they had to get answers and call me back. They did call back and provide answers, which led to follow up questions of price, how long it takes to get it, and if I needed to do a new mold impression. They stated they would call me back. A week to week and a half went by with no call back. I received a call on 9/9/24 stating my new guard was in and to set up an appointment. I asked why it was ordered as I gave no consent to order it. The staff member couldnt answer my question. When I asked if I refused to accept and and pay for it, she said they may still charge me because they couldnt sell it to anyone else. I made an appointment and said I may cancel until I figured out what was going on. I talked to the office manager, *****, and she said shed follow up on it. ***** called me back on 9/12/24 stating she didnt know why their process wasnt followed and that they would extend my payment due date out to 120 days instead of 90, but that I still owed them the money. I asked again if I refused since I didnt consent to the order or payment and she said the dentist may still charge it on my account for payment due, but wasnt sure since they couldnt sell the guard to anyone else. ***** also tried to talk me into a loan payment to pay for the guard as I had told her I wouldnt have the money until January, which is why I didnt consent to ordering it. ***** said I still owe them the money, either $390+tax if paid over time or $370+tax if paid same day as pickup. I told ***** Id get back to her. They also refused to store it until January. I emphasized multiple times I didnt consent to the order and shouldnt pay for something I didnt order, they refused to accept that.
