    My contractor has stopped returning calls and has left my property a mess. my contractor was supposed to be building a deck. This project was started the end of May. I ran into issues with the county and so the project was delayed until the middle of August at that time he was too busy to complete the project, but thought he would get to it by October or November. The original deck was removed in June 2023. Nothing else was done until the end of September when holes were dug for the footings, however, I was out of town when this was done when I returned, I asked him to put some thing around the holes because my son had already fallen into one and he said he would come out and he never did and this was on October 3 since then I have called I have emailed his business and sent numerous texts, but I have not heard back anything. I have had to buy plywood and hazard tape etc so no one is coming injured on my property. I understand that at the moment he is going through a divorce and I would be willing to work with him. However, if he doesn’t contact me, I have no other choice I have paid him $10,000, and no more than $3000 worth of work has been completed plus my property looks terrible I will be forced to hire someone else to finish the job
