  We have a septic installed by Loken. After less than a year the septic alarm went off and they sent someone out to look at it. They claimed it settled and something broke inside the tank but that it was an easy repair.
  Years later we had a heavy rain and it became apparent that what broke inside the tank was not completely fixed. When asked to come look at the tank again they noted the tank had settled and caused water to infiltrate around the outlet to the drain field. They refused to repair the tank and said they no longer install this type of septic and that we would need to fully replace with a new system. They then explained how we could fix the problem ourselves with plastic bags and roofing tar applied to the outside of the tank. 2 weeks later we received a bill for hundreds of dollars for a septic consultation fee we never agreed to.
  Every time it rains heavily our septic tank fills to the point where the alarm goes off and we need to drain the tank externally. We're getting old and we aren't sure how much longer we will be able to do this before our basement starts flooding with sewage on an annual basis.
  Loken is a dishonest company with shady business practices. This is not the only problem we've had to deal with because of them. We once asked for a quote on a service but instead of giving the quote they began the service when we were away at work. When caught in the act a call directly to Don Loken to stop became a negotiation as he refused to stop the service. When we threatened to call the police Loken dropped the price and said we could pay in installments. We were forced to agree to pay for something we would have instead done by hand had we known the price beforehand.
  Avoid this company or you will regret it, we sure do.

  We do not show this person in our customer files first off.   I've also spoken to our septic installer and president of the company and they say that without more information on date installed & address there is not enough information here whatsoever to respond to this review.   We do not believe it to be legitimate whatsoever as some of the things that were stated are not in our normal protocol whatsoever when we are dealing with our customers.  Also, the kinds of systems we have installed we continue to install so that statement was also not true.   We have installed many dozens of septic systems since we began doing this and have never received a complaint afterwards to my recollection.    Thank you..
