      On 1/5/24 Besta delivered what was supposed to be 2.5 cords of mixed hardwood to me. After the delivery truck left I realized there was Pine, a soft wood that I can not burn in my wood stove, mixed in with the load. I called **** Besta right away and informed him about the Pine.He said a little may have gotten in there but that I got a good deal.After sorting and stacking the load I found that it was ****** cubic foot short of 2.5 cords which is 320 cubic foot. Out of the ******* cubic foot that I did get ****** cubic foot was Pine which is worthless to me.The short of ****** cf and the ****** cf of **** adds up to ****** cubic foot of hardwood I did not receive. That is over one half of a cord.On 1/23/24 I sent a text to his phone ************ stating the above and a request to right the wrong and to respond with a text.He did neither.On 1/24/24 I sent a text to his other phone ************ stating the above, a request to right the wrong and to respond with a text.Again he did neither.on 1/31/24 I sent a registered letter to his place of business *****************************************, and a regular letter to ******************************* both stating all of the above and requesting he bring one half cord of mixed hard wood, that he can have his Pine back and to please respond in a timely manor. Again no response.On 2/29/24 the registered letter came back to me unclaimed.On 3/06/24 I wrote two more letters stating all of the above this time sending a registered letter to his PO Box and a regular letter to his place of business. No response.On 3/30/24 I received the registered letter back showing he was given 3 notices to claim the letter but never did. As the regular letters did not come back I assume he received them.Each mailing cost me $9.41 for a total of $18.82 plus gas for two round trips to the Post Office.I believe I have put in sufficient time and money to contact him and have given him plenty of opportunities to correct the matter.
