Andrew and Mike were excellent for years, but then the owner fired them and would not respond to my requests for service on a furnace they installed. When the owner finally responded over two weeks late he told me there was not a problem with my air flow like I was describing to him, but within a day my AC went out due to the furnace was set on high air flow like I suspected and therefore too forceful which made my AC short circuit. He not only made me feel stupid, but refused to come out for service so I was without AC for a week in 85+ degrees and humidity until I could hire a different company. In the midst of this chaos he electronically scheduled with me for midnight, which I assumed to be noon but then no showed. When I called to find out why he did not show up he said he had planned to come, but scheduled a medical procedure and could not come despite an email and text I received stating he had scheduled an appointment with me a week prior. It was a s*** show. I do not know why he fired Andrew and Mike, but he is difficult to work with and they admitted he is difficult to work for and will not return until he is no longer running the business.

We installed a new furnace in this customers home on October *********
We had nothing to do with the existing air conditioning system, other than this note from the furnace replacement quote

Connect to existing air conditioner, coil, electrical, gas, condensate, venting, return air, supply duct, thermostat, filter assembly.

The existing air conditioner was left in place

****** told the customer that if she wanted, we could stop by in the spring and check the system operation
She was never told that that she could not use her air conditioner
She called the office phone number on 05/14/2024
We visited about her schedule and tentatively set up a service call that worked in both of our schedules for 05/24/2024
As I always do, I told her that if a problem arose before then to call and we would come sooner
Tue 5/21/24  10:11am I created the service ticket for the Friday 05/24
I intended to create the service ticket without an arrival time, as I told her that I would call her when I was coming her way
Our software system sent out a noticeTue 5/21/24  10:11am  of a, " Job scheduled for Fri, May 24 between 12:00am-1:00am "
I was unaware of this notice until the customer mentioned it on Friday 05/24
She had 3 days to contact us about the time confusion

On Friday 05/24, the day of scheduled service, I had an emergency medical procedure and told her that I had to reschedule
I contacted her as soon as I left the medical facility
It was not in either of our best interests to have me come out in pain, on pain medications and ****** bandages
We visited that she could run her ac and that I would come the following week and check the airflow of the furnace
We talked for 5 minutes 43 seconds

She called the following Wednesday 05/29 11:37 am and stated that she felt it was not necessary for me to come out as the home was cooling

She left a voicemail on Saturday 06/01/2024 12:02 pm that she had an ac issue
I reached out to her when I returned to work after the weekend by text to ask if she still needed service
She replied  Too late. You are fired

I have heard nothing from her until she contacted the BBB
It appears that her ac problem was not related to the new furnace

Her comment "I was without AC for a week in 85+ degrees and humidity" is untrue

I will leave the personal attacks to her to dish out, I don't care to act like that

****** and ******* are my sons
I am at retirement age, 50 years of hvac
We made family / business decisions as to the future of the business and the family members
Service Area, Type Of Work, etc.
Both have left the company, Both are flourishing, ******* in HVAC & ****** in Auto Service
Her comments on the dynamic of my relationship with my sons is completely wrong

Our family has been in the hvac business since the end of WWll
My father and uncles learned the trade when they were Navy Seabee's in the war

We are proud of hvac history,
Quality Systems Heating & Cooling is still a active business

Well I'm not a liar. The owners son answered his personal cell phone and told me all the employees had been fired. I asked if he could fix the furnace system he installed. He said no, not until the owner is "gone". I told him I understood coz the owner is very hard for me to talk to. He replied the owner is difficult to work for. He gave me the owners personal cell phone number, but I choose not to use it and hired someone else instead, which was 1 week after my AC stopped working. I'm using cut n paste to show the notes from my new HVAC team to prove it was the furnace...Adjusted fan speed a bit lower Fan speed was default on the highest and I set it down lower I think the fan was drawing to much power and tripping the breaker Unit is operating correctly now". This is exactly what I had described to the owner when it was happening in hopes to prevent it from malfunctioning, but he told me there's nothing wrong without even coming to my house! All of this happened after 2-3 weeks of me leaving once a week ******************** ticket requests on the website. The website says they have 24/7 service, but as you can see in the owners reply above, he did NOT return my call until AFTER the weekend. Despite my voicemail n work order requests on the website stated its an emergency.
