      Over a year ago, my life was forever changed while working at Midstate Tree Service in **********, Wisconsinprivately owned and operated I was a loyal employee for three years, operating the firewood processor day in and day out. I showed up, worked hard, and gave my all.Then one day, due to the Owner decided to improperly load the truck with logs that did not fitsomething I had no control overI was crushed on the job. The weight of those massive logs broke my back. I nearly ******* I lay there, in pain and shock, all I asked for was information about workers compensation and i was fired a few weeks later told in November that firewood was slow.i felt Discarded like I didnt matter. It seemed like my injury wasnt serious whatsoever.Since that day, life has been a struggle. Physically, emotionally, and financially. Ive had to fight every day just to get back on my feetliterally and figuratively. And the hardest part? Knowing that this could have been prevented if my employer was more safety conscious. Im sharing this not out of bitterness, but out of a desire to protect others. Pleasedont work for people who dont value your hard work and safety you have the right to work for a company that appreciates you.
