    I bought a water filtration system from Water Gremlin over a decade ago. Since then, the company has changed hands and the system is now being serviced by Finken. So, Ive been doing regular upkeep via Finken since that time. In the past, service costs were reasonable and doable for me. Last year I paid more than usual because a faucet needed to be replaced. Okay, fine. Less than a year later, I had to call for service early because I was getting minimal water from the system. I agreed to the $95 service charge because I believed they wouldnt rip me off and would fix the problem and ask a fair price. Instead, the guy tells some of the products have gone up as much as $100 per item! The price asked was more than twice what Ive paid in the past. Im retired and on SS and I dont have the money to fix it in my old house with lead pipes. The city fathers arent going to fix this until after Im dead. Im just another American being ripped off by capitalism and the greed of businesses. I was so mad , I told the guy to leave. I called the company and told them about it and will NOT pay for any further so callled service from them. They rip people off! I told him he should be ashamed of working for such a dishonest company. I hate them and all the others who rip people off! I refuse to pay their service fee. I told them I was going to report them and I just did.
