    July 2022 I contacted *********************** to clean, prep and stain my deck. He came over and I gave him $575 down to do my deck. He said hed be out the following week. Never showed. I contacted him and he said hed be out in such and such day. Never showed. Always an excuse for not showing up. This went on and on all summer into fall. Finally in October i messaged him and said hes obviously not doing my deck and winter is coming. I asked him for my money back and the can of paint I gave him for color matching. He said hed pay me in a week to a week and a half. Never happened. This went on for months and hed ignore my messages as well. In April, he told me hed pay me when he got his taxes back in about two weeks. I contacted him after a month and he said hes being audited so he doesnt have my money. Hes now had my money for almost 11 months and he wont pay me my money. I want to file a small claims court action but I dont know his home address. He told me last July he lost his house and is living in a shelter with his wife and kid. Hes a scammer. My desired resolution is to get my money back.
