According to information provided by consumers, 'GC Value Sprout' (gcvaluesprout.com) is a website offering to purchase unused gift card balances. The website shows an address of "830 Tabitha Shoal Suite 435 Building Number: 49596 Jakubowski Light South Kayleighstad, Minnesota," which does not appear to be a real address. (There is no such city or address in MN.) Consumers describe "selling" gift card balances to the site, then not receiving anticipated payment and subsequently being unable to reach the company. BBB notes that there is no business by this name registered with the MN Secretary of State, and the website in question was just created on 12/13/24.To date, the business has not responded to BBB complaints. BBB will continue to pursue complaints through our normal process, but consumers who have "sold" a gift card balance to GC Value Sprout and not received payment may also wish to file a complaint through the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
