      17 years ago client could get a agency called PCA Choice , client controlling who the person hired plus more an hour for worker . PCA to day are receiving a paycheck for doing little in the home to help all in the home. Very disappointed in how agencies have changed. Well do your homework yes again its specially daunting when have months to live .

      St Croix Hospice has been a wonderful partner to work with. I have worked with them at multiple facilities, and have seen fantastic outcomes. The nurses that are sent are kind, observant, and smart. They display good judgement, and are quick to find solutions. St Croix is my go to choice when selecting hospice companies, or offering suggestions to those in need.

      My brother is in hospice care through this business. Saturday he fell. Sister-in-law called only to receive a call back that the on-call nurse didn't answer - this an hour after the initial call. She was then told someone would come on Sunday to check him out. A no-show. 36 hours later and still no visit. While he has had two very good nurses, for the most part this business is a joke due to being poorly managed - the manager in charge doesn't know OR doesn't care what's going on. One of his previous nurses would chart his vitals from what his wife had taken down rather than take them herself. The same nurse would come when she felt like it. No appointed time - anywhere from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. They did a 'wish' trip for him at one point. NOT ONE of his children or grandchildren were asked to go along. Yet three nurses went. If you need Hospice services, please look at other organizations. My family has used another with excellent treatment. Don't subject your family to the low standards the Waterloo wing of this 'care'. organization is providing.One star is too many - I'm required to leave a 'star rating'.

      My elderly brother has just suffered unfathomable anguish and torment due to the actions of an overzealous social worker from St. Croix Hospice. The trauma inflicted is devastating on top of his deep grief over the recent death of his beloved wife of 54 years. Not much detail can be given at this time as her thoughtlessness is actionable and is being reported to appropriate agencies at this time. Please do not allow a business like St. Croix Hospice to subject your loved one to the abuse my brother had to go through. Take heed.

      St. Croix Hospice *********** over promised and definitely under delivered and I hope that no other family has to endure what my dad and family had to endure. They made a bunch of promises and had my dad transferred to his assisted living home for his hospice care before they had everything in place for him. My dad passed away before they even ensured that his comfort meds were onsite! I was told they had on call clergy but when I called on Saturday morning and no clergy arrived still by 300 p.m. I was then told that no one was on call. I guess this organization doesn't think that patients pass away on weekends! This organization let my dad and the entire family down due to their inept planning! I only hope other families considering this company's services think twice! I interviewed 3 agencies for hospice and thought I did my due diligence but they dropped the ball on everything they promised!

      The nurse manager of my mothers case, Adonis had agreed to inform me, moms daughter, of her status and when she passes. Granted, there was family drama and accusations, but he only listened to one side. My mom wanted to be home with home health care, but the poa, *************************, deceitfully had her placed at **************************** in *********. I just learned from a cousin that my mom passed last night. I would never recommend St. Croix hospice as they do not support or encourage the desires of the patient, only whom ever has assumed control. Truly disappointing and heartbreaking. Mom wanted to be in her home of 70 years.
