    - Placed an in-person order on 01/09/2025 at 17:53:50 for a special that included a 6" sub, a drink, and chips. I added two chocolate chip cookies. The total came out to 9.65. I swiped my gift card to charge this amount. After that, I was prompted to leave a tip. It wouldn't take my gift card again so I tapped my credit card for a $1.00 tip. When I returned home I noticed that this location charged my credit card for the FULL AMOUNT of the transaction to my credit card. No one told me that this happened and no one warned me ahead of time. I want a full refund to my credit card and the correct amount charged to my gift card.The transaction # from the receipt is 1/A-459230. Mastercard ends in 3717. My gift card number is ******************* 301.I attempted to submit a complaint to Subway directly but their website is unreachable on mobile and on desktop. Users constantly meet a "Access Denied" error and based on my searches it looks like this has been going on for 4 months with no resolution.

    Hello:

     

    In response to this complaint, we deny any refund for the following 3 reasons:

    1.)  Numerically our transactions have not reached ****** level yet this year, let alone the ****** alleged in the complaint.  So there is no corresponding transaction on the date to match the complaint.

    2.)  In researching all transactions on the date in question (1/9/25), there is no transaction amount matching the amount stated in the complaint ($10.65).

    3.)  The complaint states that the transaction was at 17:53 (approximately 10 minutes before 6pm).  This location has been closing at 17:00 (5pm) since August, so this was well after the close of business for that day.

     

    For these 3 reasons, we deny the requested refund.
