      In Aug. 2024 I used Elite Towing to tow my vehicle to Parent Auto because it wouldn't start. After the mechanic fixed an electrical issue, I received the vehicle back and it the alignment was off. I called Elite Towing and Parent Auto to notify them of the damage at which time **** at Parent told me to bring it back in for an eval. It was determined that the cause of the misalignment was caused by the tow, not by the electrical work done by the shop. Elite Towing told me to have Parent Auto fix the alignment and they would get reimbursed. However, since repairs were made I have been unable to reach anyone at Elite Towing despite having submitted the damage claim, calling the office, and emailing the supervisor multiple times.

      It seems there was a miscommunication between the shop she had brought the car to, they were supposed to send us the bill for the damage and not ask her for payment. We are working diligently to get this paid and should have it resolved by the end of the week.

      The above business came to my residence and towed my vehicle while it had parking permit.

      The complaint simply states repair issues. As this is not descriptive and we have not had communication with this customer we are unsure of the details. It is my understanding though as I research this, the customer is upset that his vehicle was impounded due to his willful negligence. So, until we hear from the customer directly or have further communication. I would like this complaint considered closed and no negative marks listed for the company.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      Good afternoon 

      as Elite/Rabid towing claiming that I have been negligent to put parking permit in my vehicle. I have obtained the permit on 2/27/24 from the housing and the permit has been on my window vehicle since then. Elite towing is claiming that I put the permit as my car was hooked to the towing truck. My wife disputed the fee of $540.00 and requested a manager. As the manager at Elite towing conveyed to my wife at the time of picking my vehicle , there was/is a camera on front and behind of the towing vehicle. According to the manager it will take couple of hours to a day to download the video and would get back to me or my wife about his findings. He said if I find that you didnt put the sticker the time of towing the vehicle, i will refund your money in full. It has been 48 hours and no word from the manager of Elite company. 

      This has been so frustrating and inconvenient to me and my family. I had to pay the above amount in cash and not even accepting credit cards. I didnt have such cash sitting around. I had to borrow.
