    I hired this company to install a new gas fireplace remote control at a home been renovated for sale because I lost the original one. The company owner is ***************************. He came few times, after messing up my pilot assembly, paid him to buy a new one. He charged a total of $1249 of which 1 ****************** $378.00 1 Trip fee. $45.00 1 Pilot assembly. $70.00 1 Remote Controller conversion kit. $676.00 Subtotal $1169.00 Sales Tax $80.36 Total: $1,249 Paid $950.00 Bal. $299.36 This guy called me while I was at work that he was almost done that I need to pay him full so he can get a missing part that will take him less than 15 minutes to install. I decided to send him $200 out of the balance of $499.36. I did not here from him again the rest of the day. Next day I sent him a text asking if he completed the job, it was then he responded that he was not able to install the remote controller. On May 6th, 2023, I requested for the refund of money I paid towards remote control kit that he was not able to install. To my surprise, he requested that I pay him the balance of $299. I made him aware that he scammed me my money and that I will take legal action against him (which I am in the process of filing in 2 weeks), it was then that admitted that he will refund me my money. Ever since then, he he has not refunded me my money. Please do not use the services of FlameOnMN or ****************************He does not merit even "1" star rating, unfortunately it is the minimun available.

    We hired this company to clean and repair the gas fireplace in a rental we own. They turned up on the appointed day although several hours early. They should have informed us of the change in schedule. They cleaned the fireplace and stated they needed to order parts to finish the job the next week. Our renter paid them, they didnt supply a receipt and now they will not reply to numerous emails or phone calls. We reached them by phone once but they hung up. We dont mind paying for the work they did do but we think we should get a refund if they arent coming back.
