    I have a 2013 Acura TL. We lost both fobs and needed at least one new smart fob. The smart fobs are not in-stock until July at the Acura dealership. I contacted Quick Keys. After some back and forth calls with ****, I was told that my fob was discontinued but they were able to locate one key in ***************. (Acura says the keys are not discontinued.) A technician came to my house the next day. He was with the car for almost 3 hours when he called from the garage to say he was done. I came outside and he explained that the smart fob he brought for my car would not work, and he got permission from his boss, ***, to use a Driver 2 *** fob that he had with him instead. The fob is functional except that it does not work for the trunk and there is an *** image on the fob. He said my key was not available anywhere else, but they could maybe locate one later. He said that the *** fob would cost $60 more than I was quoted. AT NO POINT PRIOR to programming the wrong fob to my car was I told what was going on. I had two little kids inside, so I paid the fee ($380) and the technician left. When I went back inside, I found multiple OEM smart fobs online that match the *** to my previous fob. Later that day, my husband called and explained to **** that we would like a smart fob, which is fully functional for my car, to be programmed to my car and we would like to return/be refunded for the *** fob that they gave me. The next day (today), ***, the owner contacted my husband. He said that they would not refund or replace the *** key that they programmed to the car as there were no keys for my car on the market when the technician was here yesterday so [the technician] didnt lie. My husband said that I was able to find keys online, and we would simply like the correct keys programmed to my car and we would like to return and be refunded for the *** key. *** got very upset, and ended the call by telling my husband, you just need to go away and then hung up on him.
