This company is unethical. My wife scheduled a mammogram. They billed us $599 with a $4.38 (<1%) in-network discount. When asked if we could get a reasonable rate, they said they would only do that if we were in financial need. I went in for a 3 minute urgent care appointment and chest x-ray. They billed me $622. Only offered a 9% discount. They would not offer a cash discount. We're being penalized for having insurance. This issue will be reviewed with our Congressman and fully escalated.

Park Nicollet takes advantage of their patients so they can make more money. My daughter had a zoom call for acne. The appointment lasted 15 minutes. My daughter told the dr the medicine she had taken before and that she wanted to take it again to help the issue. The dr prescribed that medication. My daughter then received a bill for $450. They said her case was a 4/5 level of medical decision making and complexity! I find this concerning for so many reasons. First, if prescribing medication for acne is this difficult of a medical decision/complexity level how are they with serious cases like skin cancer? Does the ************* code everything at a higher level to bring in more money? Why when you question charges does it always come back as PN being right? Why is no one able to give you reasons why this appointment was so complex and the medical decisions were so difficult? With no other info or explanation, PN just shuts you down and youre expected to pay because they said. Something is not right with this company. They are money hungry and dont care about the people.

Health Partners and Park Nicollet health care services are the worst I have ever experienced. I'm speaking about the corporate system not the doctors. If you try to get an appointment expect to wait up to an hour to get someone on the line. IF you finally get someone, you will have to give that person all of your personal information even if you just did that to the same person 30 min ago and then got cut off. The experience with the appoint person is always the same. You quickly understand that you as the patient must bow down to the Alpha person on the phone because they do not have any knowledge what it means to be a vendor and help a customer the person calling. This approach has been evident for the past 3-4 years and nothing changes. Apparently the management does not know how to treat a customer and as they have a monoply on the service and I should be greatful that they are even speaking to me. The supporting nurses at times are as bad as the person answering the phone. I have had to wait for up to 8 days to get an answer to a question regarding a change in a medication and then I had to re-direct the nurse to my originial message to answer her question as the answer was in the originial message. ************************* should be avoided as much as possible.***************************

I have had health partners insurance for about the last 4 years and have been going to park Nicollet in ************** for that same time period. I am not blaming them- this is a bigger issue. Normally I go to the doctor for my annual check-up and maybe one other time per year for an illness. I pay $657 per month for this service with a co-pay for any visit besides the annual check-up. I recently have had a sinus infection that started on September 9 and turned into covid. The sinus infection has not gone away. I have tried to get in to see a doctor a few times. The first time on 9/9 I tried to call because I was having a severe case of vertigo, I got routed around through their phone recordings for about 20 minutes and then gave up. Today, I tried to get in to see an ENT because the sinus infection has been with me for longer than 2 weeks now and was told I couldn't get in until November. How is that going to help me? It says online, "Go to a doctor if your sinus infection lasts longer than two weeks." The person I spoke to suggested I go to urgent care which will cost more than a co-pay and will have a who knows how long wait. What am I paying $7,884 a year for? I am disgusted but feel I have nowhere to turn to get service. I cannot imagine how hard this must be for someone who can't afford health insurance. It's absurd that I feel like one of the "lucky" ones because I can afford insurance.
