  Sela did a wonderful job redoing our roof- which had leaks, rotted wood and 31 year old insulation. They did an excellent job explaining what was needed- showed me pictures as they opened up the roof and were true to their estimate. Their workmen were pleasant and seem to take pride in their work and did a great job cleaning up. Our neighbors have all commented on how nice the roof looks!

  Everything from start to finish was done perfectly. They were on time, any concerns I had were taken care of promptly. Place was left cleaner then when they arrived. Would highly recommend.

  Signed a contract in July 2023 to have work done this fall and was told it would be ~ month out for scheduling. Fine, but after emailing and calling the last couple of weeks to get a timeline since it hasn't been scheduled was called today to be told that they don't have a crew to complete our roof and cancelled our project. A complete waste of time given that this was something we communicated we needed done before winter.

  As far as I can tellI I got a well-done roof replacement from Sela, with good materials. My rating is somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. The whole process took from August 2022 to March 2023. I initially paid them five thousand in August 2022, believing that they would do the work in October. They did nothing until I complained in November that I didn’t want to wait the entire winter. I think the work was (almost) finished by the beginning of December — their workers did their work in single-digit windchills following our first big snowstorm.
  In Minneapolis, there are some pretty stringent requirements for replacing the roof deck. I am not complaining about this, but be aware that this could be a substantial additional cost.
  I think the insulation guy (subcontracted by Sela) did good work. That took just one day.
  For the overall roofing work, the lowest section of siding on my house had been removed to re-shingle the mid-level eaves, and the roofing crew left those areas uncovered (I’ll guess 30+ linear feet around the house). When I contacted them later in December to say I was concerned that rain would get in the uncovered parts they promptly sent somebody out to do a temporary job of diverting rain and snow so it wouldn’t flow under the new shingles. I think that did the trick.
  I received a final bill at the beginning of January, but when I complained that the work was not finished, they withdrew the bill.
  They finished replacing the siding in March or April, then sent me a final bill, which I paid.
  I sent them a question about whether water would accumulate in a little part of the siding, but they did not reply.
  I now (May 2023) have squirrels galloping around the soffits. It’s an older house, so this may or may not be due to the roofing work, but apparently sometimes it is.   I cannot say enough about the experience I had with SELA roofing. Specifically, Louis helped me to get a new roof after a hail storm. He had to fight tooth and nail with the insurance company.
  I will not mention the insurance company name but it took three or more fights ( I mean down and dirty fighting) to get approval for a full roof. Louis was incredible and with the backing of SELA we got a new roof. I would highly recommend without question, SELA roofing !

  We had sustained some significant hail damage to our roof this summer. The Sela team started early one morning and worked diligently until nightfall.At any moment there seemed to be 10 guys on the roof.At the conclusion of the following day the job was complete! What?! Our entire roof was finished in two days! On the third day, a few people were back cleaning up. You never would have known there was an entire crew working on the roof. Thefinished product is perfect. I never appreciated how a new roof improves the beauty of a home until nowSela is great to work with and they have the process down to a science. They have an entire infrastructure set up to make the roofing of your home seamless. They worked with our insurance and got approval quickly. Lets just say, Its not their first rodeo! I would only trust my roof to Sela!
