I was in a car accident a few months ago and they told me they were dealing with it since I had ************* through them. Then they kept telling me that I needed to get my crash report and every time I call the police department they tell me theyre working on it. The bank closed my claim now because they said it was taking so long. Ive had nothing but issues with the bank and now it shows Im months behind on a car that I dont even have anymore. Why arent they calling and getting the crash report??

      Business Response

      Date: 10/18/2024

      Dear Better Business Bureau,

We have received a complaint from an individual regarding the handling of their car accident claim and the subsequent issues with their loan. We would like to provide some context and clarify our actions in this matter.

Attempts to Contact: We made numerous attempts to contact the individual via phone and email to assist with obtaining the crash report and to provide updates on the claim status. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response to our communications.  The attempts were made by the Credit Union, ***************** and the insurance adjustor.

Claim Closure: Due to the prolonged delay in receiving the crash report and the lack of response from the individual, we had to close the claim as we were unable to proceed without the necessary documentation.

Loan Payment Issues: We understand the individuals concern about the loan payments. However, it is important to note that the loan remains active, and payments are required as per the loan agreement. We have not received any payments for several months, which has resulted in the account being marked as delinquent.

      Resolution Efforts:

We are also open to discussing a payment plan or other arrangements to help the individual manage their loan payments during this difficult time.

Request for Cooperation: We kindly request the individual to respond to our communications so that we can work together to resolve these issues. Our goal is to provide the necessary support and find a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to a prompt resolution.

      Sincerely,  ***** ****, President/CEO
