I HAVE REQUESTED A STATEMENT OF MY UTILITIES THAT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY DEPOSIT AFTER VACANCY WITH A CLEAN REPORT AT MOVE OUT. AT THE TIME I SIGNED MY LEASE I AGREED TO PAY ONE MONTH PER THE ADDENDUM. THEY TOOK OUT 6 MONTHS AND NEVER REPLIED TO SENDING ME An ITEMIZED LIST OF WHAT WAS CHARGED. IT HAS BEEN NOW ALMOST 2 MONTHS WITH NO REPLY TO EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS. THEIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY JUST WANTS TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE THEIVES.

Since inh has taken over managing my apartment complex they have run it into the ground. The beautiful lawn is now dead, they don't fix anything in a timely.anner and sometimes not at all there are still things needing to be fixed that we have told them about since day one and that was 2 yrs ago. They are false billing hra an amount for ppls rent without giving the people and addendum for a rent increase. They are now trying to increase some of our rent by $300 a month when the fair market value on them is only 700(the bathroom is still tiled in yellow from the 80s as well as all the counters) they want us to pay 950+ that's for a 12 month term and without being able to see the lease. They also increased the garage rent when the garages have holes in them, ice rinks in the spring, broken seals and more. Anytime we reach out to our apartment manager they say it's on the list but won't say where it is or what else is on the list, then we get a new person and we have to start all over again. They want the money for themselves, but don't want to upkeep their buildings. It's disgusting. Also with the increases it's as far as I know only for those that have hra vouchers, and we all have different amounts, and they will try to scam you by sending an email and the email states more than the letter states for a new rent amount by $50-100.

This is regarding their aurora vista Andover apartment building apartment 130. From the very beginning Steven the community manager lied to us stating he had worked there since it opened (1 year) when he actually had been there 2 months. Then he stated the apartment would be $1400 a month, he lied it ended up being $1525 a month. Then he told us it would go up on Tuesday at noon, it ended up going up on Saturday at 3am. We applied and he said it would take one business day. After waiting 4 days we called and asked the status of our application, Trisha (his assistant) said it was completed and would be sent out the next day to sign. The next day came and nothing. Until Steven called me and asked if I wanted to schedule a tour. After I explained that I have already applied and was waiting for a email he said that he would check the status. He claimed it was stuck at 88% completed and said it was probably due to a mental health issue and started questioning if I had a history of mental health (which is not something you are supposed to ask) and that I may need a co sign because of a lack of renter history. I have a friend who moved in there working the same job making the same income who moved in there with no rental history and he got in just fine. We later called and reported his statements regarding mental health where he declined they ever happened and then he canceled our application
If it were not for Steven making the application process be the worst thing I’ve ever experienced it would be a nice place. I recommend avoiding this apartment like a poison

This prospective tenant expressed interest in Unit 130, which was initially presented to her as the model unit. As this unit had not yet been listed on the market, I referenced similar previous units that had rented for $1,425. Once it was officially listed, the rental price was set at $1,525.When she followed up on her application, prior to processing her information, she inquired about the status of her application. During our conversation, I informed her that the application was still being processed and asked standard follow-up questions, including whether she had any pets, if they were Emotional Support Animals (***s), and if she would require underground parking. I assured her that we would contact her with updates regarding her application.Subsequently, she contacted ******, expressing concerns about the speed of our response to her application and making claims that we had inquired about her mental health. During my conversation with her, mental health was only mentioned when she asked for clarification on what constitutes an **** I explained that an *** is related to emotional support and assists individuals with mental health needs, distinguishing it from a service animal. After our discussion, she called me again, using inappropriate language and expressing frustration regarding the rental price, suggesting that we were withholding her approval due to mental health concerns. I explained that if she was dissatisfied with the set price, which she had reiterated multiple times, we would need to proceed with other applications. She continued using offensive language during our conversation until the line was disconnected.I canceled the application in the system due to her aggressive behavior to me on the phone and her statements that she was not happy or willing to pay for the price of the unit.

I needed to end my lease early due to circumstances out of my control. At first they were understanding. But I have been fed a bunch of misleading lies and promises. They hit me with a huge bill even though they have already re-rented the apartment. My bill was sent to collections and I was told they would not charge an early termination fee. When I said I already paid it so take it off my bill they backtracked and said it was too late now. I’ve asked to talk to someone else at INH regarding the many issues and been denied contact information. Don’t get scammed by this property….stay away!

      Hello,

Thank you for sharing your concerns. I have discussed your complaints with our Regional Property Manager and offer the following response:

We are still in communication with you on this situation. You terminated her lease early and so far we have communicated the following:

      1. You must pay the Early Termination Fee equal to one (1) month’s rent (your lease runs to 10/31/23), which you have paid.
      2. You would be rent responsible until the unit is re-rented, which we have done. The new resident moves in 03/24/23, thus making you rent responsible up to 03/23/23.

You have contested that you should not have to pay “any” rent as we have found a future tenant. We informed you that you are rent responsible up until the resident moves in and not when we actually approve them. Our specialist Jake has been in constant communication with you. Both he and our Regional Manager will continue to communicate with you.

I lived here for 8 years and never had a negative experience until moving out. Told one thing by the property manager and am now being told something completely different by the ownership company INH Properties. My wife and I bought our first home and gave notice. It was under the 60 day requirement but had communicated to our property manager that we were home searching and he made it seem this wouldn't be an issue. They were able to find a replacement renter to take over our apartment the month after we moved out.

The resident handbook says we should get a move out letter - didn't get it. Supposed to schedule an inspection - never mentioned during all our communications. Had my wife sign the move out inspection form without doing it with her, hadn't even completed it yet then charge us for cleaning and other items. Told we would be getting money back from the last month's rent paid when first moved in but ownership is saying differently.

1.Residents broke their lease as they purchased a home (responsible for Early Termination Fee and Rent Responsibility Date which was communicated to them).2.The Community Manager found another renter to save them from being rent responsible for the remainder of their lease.3.The Community Manager worked with the residents during the entire process.
