    When I first walked into village homes in line city the couple was extremely nice. The lady related with me about how her mom was a single mom then her husband showed me around the units. He began talking to me about his beliefs of being Christian and a conservative, which it was obvious I also was because I had a Jesus sticker on my car . Well he offered me a deal on the floor model and said he would include the hookups and the stairs. Well when I had gotten the financing they warned me about an extra 2500 for a general contractor which I was prepared for but they submitted the paperwork to usda and wanted nearly 10,000 for the stairs, the hookups and the siding panels. When I confronted them they backed out of the loan by calling usda and didn't directly speak to me. They do not have true christian hearts and they discriminate against you if they all of a sudden get more business and you aren't rich enough for them. Most of their Google reviews you can tell are from friends and not just customers. They claim to be more affordable but they are not, I'm better off looking to buy a home. I wasted over 4 months trying to buy a home from them and me and my kids need to be in a home before school starts. They were very deceiving. And I would like to file a civil claim against them.

    Agree with Corinne. Difficult to work with, although the employees and staff are very nice. Quality of home is not at all what shows in models. So disappointing. Every penny we had was put into paying for this home. It is almost two years later and we still have a home with problems that can’t be resolved. Yet…..everyone we have dealt with is extremely nice. Whatever happened to pride in our world? Workmanship is terrible. It is truly very sad.
