I won a giveaway valued at 2K. I received 1 email, 3 phone calls, and 1 voicemail with no pricing listing. Bjorn ******** prices run from 2K-10K depending on the size and quality. Prices were not mentioned until the end of my photoshoot. These prices are reasonable when it comes to a known artist. Bjorn ****** is a businessman majoring in marketing and economics, he created a system to make this giveaway more of a 2K coupon to obtain customers I requested a refund, the day after my photoshoot because from my experience he was very insistent on me to upgrade. I contacted previous giveaway winners from ******** where he advertises the giveaways and they all mentioned feeling pressured and intimidated by Bjorn to upgrade. Bjorn needs to improve their communication with customers because they can be accused of False advertisement and misrepresentation of prices.Consider my experience before you do business with this person. I respect businesses that have transparency, and ethics for which I requested a refund right away. I want to be clear and say I got a refund. Overall this felt like a sale with no good intentions and it was a very umplacent experience.

Dear *******, it was a pleasure to meet you. I connected with your immigrant story of being the first in your family with a university degree and enjoyed our interaction. That's my story also, only that I now have to start thinking about paying my employees, covering for overhead and making a living with the skill set and passions I developed for most of my life. As a business owner, I spend a lot of time away from my son and other relationships and you were given 2 hours of my time and a free print at no cost to you. People that come to us want something they cannot get anywhere else, yet, most of them also expect anyone with a camera to be paid as a hobbiest. We provide a very professional experience, personal attention and an environment to make an informed decision. Making decisions is one of the hardest things for 80% of the population in general and courage is increasingly missing to thrive for something great. People who believe that sameness is the answer engage in victimhood, limiting beliefs, cancel-culture and socialist ideals and in our conversation, my impression wa that was not you, but maybe I am wrong. With over 25 years of experience, we are able to reduce the time in front of the camera significantly and leveraging relationships with quality vendors provide amazing quality. But all of this doesn't matter to you, because in your mind it's only worthy, if it doesn't cost anything or is closer to your expected price. Your realities about money are going to change and at some point you will value your time and quality more. That is the group we are targeting, people for whom only the best is good enough and not limited in their pursuits by scarcity thinking or disrespecting. Unless you take ownership of your emotions (I really cannot "make you feel" anything, that's your choice) and have compassion for a diverse approach to business and otherwise, you will remain a victim and your toxicity will leave you trapped in mediocrity at best. As you embark into the real world, away from educational idealism, read the quote "man in the arena" by President *********************************** and also consider that just because you cannot have what you wanted, does not allow you to tarnish the reputation of a business with an important and unique product that helps more than a dozen people to make a living. Gratefulness for what you received for free would have been such a classic response instead of rallying against hard-working people. Your comments say more about you than about our team and business. Best of luck.

This studio is a really amazing local resource for anybody who wants to preserve their children or family or their pets in a gorgeous portrait. I would recommend working with them to anybody who's looking. They do a fabulous job of capturing each individual's personalities and letting them shine.

This review is for Bjorn Fine Art Portraits since you cant leave one on there page: Let me start by saying I won a $2k credit towards a portrait, which pays for an 11x14 canvas. If you want an actual painted portrait, thats going to cost you a minimum of triple what you win. When you arrive they have little machines that have toys in them, if you leave a review (presumably good) they give you some tokens so your kids can use the machine. If you see reviews here about kids being happy with the experience, its because they received a token for a toy out of the machine. My husband and I opted for the free ($2k) 11x14 canvas. Called today and they dont have any records of my order, but I can email someone about it. Also, you cant purchase the prints, but they can make an exception and sell you 1 photo (unedited) for $500. Beware, this place is very much a scam, which is a bummer for people who actual think theyve won something.I would highly recommend using a local photographer instead.

********************************* has her free prize ready for pick up at our studio. This has been communicated to her as of 5/8. (We have a recorded voice message and emails to prove this. Along with the photographic evidence of her portrait being at the studio for her.)

Granddaughters had a good time at the shoot. Everyone is very kind and helpful. The background was magical. Enjoyed using the bow. Loved the wilderness feel.

I came in with my family to redeem a free session that we "won". The staff was nice and did their best to accommodate with our young children. We did not expect prices to be as "extravagant" as they were. I felt if they were more transparent on their pricing in the beginning then I wouldn't have been so taken by surprise. Even though we won the free session, in order to get your photo/ portrait you will have to make a purchase. Direct calls to the business number goes straight to voicemail, so trying to inquire before the sessions were unsuccessful... so I would say going in to see the place and talking to a live person would be your best bet.

The statement is incorrect: We redeem against the free prize on a regular basis, though most people come prepared to invest in something that makes more of a statement, which is our specialization and our web site is specific about this, so unmatched expectations derive really from this particular individual to ignore information provided.. Unfortunately, we are not able to give out pricing upfront (it varies), but do provide a window of expenses upon client's intentions on specific measurements. We checked the client's voice mail recording and have responded on every single occasion that a voicemail was left within ************************************************************************************************************************************************* this world.

I won a free portrait so i scheduled a session at the cost of $200. Subsequently, I tried to contact them numerous times to no avail. Ultimately, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Seems like a scam to me so beware!

Bjorn Fine Arts Portraits deserves their reputation and prices for all their amazing work. Don't get me wrong. I just want to warn others out there that if you happen to win a "$2000 free session" like my family did, you are either going to come out with a free 11"14" picture with NO edits.... or you can upgrade to having a 30" inch picture and up (which is the minimum size to have edits and artists paint your family portrait), you are now looking at $6000+ even with the $2,000 credit you won to help subtract some expenses away. This is not affordable for most working class or low-income families, unless you have $6000-$10,000 in your bank to spare. Bjorn is a talented businessman who will not give you costs ahead of time. And your family will be given a slight discount if you make a decision right there rather than going home to think about it... so it can make some people feel pressured to be told that.My personal experience was that the photo session felt rushed. With a large family it is difficult to have young kids and adults smile or look at the camera at the same time. And so I felt like it was almost on purpose to ensure that in the end, we would desire to combine two photos into one or have head swaps, etc... but remember... any edits requires you to go up to $6000+, so you would just have to hope you have ONE perfect picture. Personally, one of our photos did not have the best family set up (I didn't realize there was such a huge awkward gap between family members until we got to see our photos). Then we had a one photo with perfect family set up, but one person was looking away and another was not smiling. I felt like if the clicks between each photo was not taken so fast, it would have prevented alot of these mistakes.Yes, Bjorn is friendly, funny, and great with the kids. Product, though, is very pricey, and I don't think the free unedited portraits are worth $2,000.

We are exclusively specialized in one thing: Fine Art **** Portraits. These are portraits that go through many hands before they are delivered to our clients and the process is explained on our web site and communicated throughout the process of preparing for the session. Part of our marketing is inviting families to try us out and if they choose not to pursue a wall portrait, we still provide a photograph from the session size 11x14. Of course, we are always sorry, if the experience was not to the liking of our clients, but in all honesty what I am observing here is more of a different blueprint of how we are supposed to be priced. To illustrate this a bit, it's like going to the ******* dealership and expecting *** pricing and during a test drive complaining that the car was red when they wanted a black one. Our business is thriving due to high demand for something of quality and we compensate our employees, freelancers and vendors over average allowing "working class families" to pursue their lives. Comments like the above make me wonder, whether any consideration has been given that the author is making the world a worse place and putting people's income at risk by spreading toxicity just because they did not get what in their world they deserve.
