  We have been loyal customers of S&R Heating & Cooling for over a decade, and they have consistently provided exceptional service, expert recommendations, and quality workmanship. Most recently, Rob, one of the owners, came to our home to provide an estimate for updating our air conditioning system.
  What stood out to us was his comprehensive approach—he took the time to assess our existing system thoroughly and asked thoughtful questions about our comfort challenges. We shared that our home tends to be damp in the summer and dry in the winter, leading us to use a dehumidifier in the summer and a water vaporizer throughout the winter. Additionally, as owners of an older home, dust accumulation has been a persistent issue. Rob listened attentively and provided a well-thought-out recommendation, suggesting we upgrade to a Bryant 114 - AC Unit (2.5 Ton) along with enhancements such as:
  • Aprilaire High-Capacity Whole-Home Dehumidifier
  • Aprilaire 600 Auto Trac Bypass Humidifier
  • iWave Air Purification System
  We truly appreciate S&R’s customer-first approach and their ability to tailor solutions to our specific needs. Over the years, they have helped us with replacing our furnace and installing an additional heating zone to improve temperature consistency throughout our home. No matter the project, they have always delivered honest advice, high-quality work, and outstanding customer service.
  Beyond their expertise, S&R Heating & Cooling is a locally owned business that values giving back to the community. Rob shared that they offer apprenticeship opportunities for high school students interested in HVAC as a career path. We thought that was a great way to support the next generation of professionals right here in our community.

  We had S & R Appliance Repair put in a new HVAC heat pump system - heating and cooling with a whole home humidifier, air purifier and smart sensor for zoning - in summer 2023. We had been researching different local companies. We were impressed with S & R from our first meeting with owner Rob ******, who took considerable time to explain the system and its value. Rob is a perfectionist, leaving no detail unattended, and his communication with us was excellent. We were also impressed with the crew -- efficient, professional, talented and kind. The job took 1.5 days during a hot July week, and by the end of the first day we had air! The change in the air and flow on both levels in our house has been incredibly noticeable.

  I've used the S&R teams for two furnaces at two different houses and sought them out for help the second time based on how good the first experience was. Rob was diligent in educating me on the different options and ensuring that the install set us up for years of easy application. He even noted an opportunity in the previous installers work (the same thing our home inspector noted) and did a few iterations of his plans to ensure it was addressed. This was not something required to pass code but simply something that would ensure a longer life and more effective furnace, which really illustrates his commitment to making sure things are done right for his customers. He has a passion for the business that becomes clear when you work with him which fosters a great deal of trust. Rob worked hard to understand my needs and tailor a solution for what I need today and what I may want in the future. Rob, Scott and team were great to have at our house on the day of the most recent install. The team that came out was friendly, accountable, knowledgeable and just a really great group of guys. All around, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend working with this team.
