    I file to have my gas turn on in my new house. I gave them $299.99 for deposit to began service. I was scam for my money because the gas company told me I didn&#**;t have to give them a deposit. I want my $299.99 to be refunded immediately.

    On December 14, I called our power company, Entergy, to have the power turned on in my name at a house we own, but had recently been renting out. We needed to turn on the power to put the house on the market to sell.Shortly after calling Entergy, I got a call from someone claiming to be a representative of Entergy to schedule the service turn on and to collect my deposit. I paid $399 and they informed me that this would be seen on my statement as "Black Stampede, LLC". This seemed legitimate to me because I had just initiated this service with my power company. I have since sold the house and paid my final bill and contacted Entergy to inquire about my deposit. Entergy had no deposit and had not required one. This company, Black Stampede, LLC is not affiliated with Entergy as they claimed, and they stole $399. This transaction was initiated on December 14, and posted to my credit card on December 15, 2023. I have no records of the transaction because I made my payment over the phone and received no receipt.

    This company posed as Entergy, they knew all of my account information, and proceeded to scam me out of $299 for what I thought was a deposit for energy.
