    Paid Ed Dover to take down tree and replace wall around basement window. Tree was finally taken down but branches were not cleaned up. Kept promising to come back but always have gotten excuses after excuses. Now will not return calls. He started removing retaining wall and it is all torn up. He left shovel, handcart, tarp, rope and large crowbar.

    Beaver Tree Service was hired on 2/20/23 to remove a tree in our back yard. I asked him if he is insured and he told me the insurance policy is on 2 million dollars. At the time of signing the agreement I asked him to show me the insurance information, he did not have it with him. He asked me for the down payment so he can pay his employees. I gave the owner $500 and the job was bid at $2,100. Two hours later he came back with two other individuals. Before they started doing any work I asked him to show me the insurance, he said again he doesnt have with it him and he tried calling his wife, but she was not answering. Than I told him I do not want to continue doing business with him until I see the insurance policy. He called his wife again and this is what he told me dont be mad, but insurance policy expired, while they are cutting the tree his wife will go and renew the insurance.At this point I told him this is way too suspicious and I dont want to do business with him any longer, and I want my money back. He did not gave me money back, saying he already spent the money (within 2 hours). Than I told him I will call the policy. As soon as I was about to call the policy, he and his crew jumped into their cars and ready to leave. Before they left I managed to take a picture of their cars plate.I called him multiple times asking him to give me my money back, but he never did. No work has been done, and Im looking to get $500 back.

    This company was hired to remove a tree and the debris. He insisted that he was paid in cash! That should have been a red flag. They put the tree branches in our city alley and some in the dumpster. Now the alley is covered in dead tree branches. They even took a tool from our property. I sent him a text several times to request they clean up their mess and return the tool. He has yet to respond to the text. Im just wondering how many other customers they make pay in cash to hide from the ****
