    Over priced, and they didn't fix my car, yet charged me $4000

    For over 60 years, we have done our best to take care of a variety of service needs for our customers. From late model vehicles, to farm equipment, to restoration of older vehicles.Older vehicle restoration is always a challenge, because there is no good way to estimate what work will need to be done. This particular job was challenging because the customer asked ** to change the engine configuration from stock (6 cylinder to V8 conversion), and provided their own parts. We do not warranty customer supplied parts, because we don't know the quality of the part installed. We towed this vehicle in because it sat at the previous repair shop for over 2 years with no activity. This vehicle was pulled from our service department before it was finished because the cost of repairs exceeded the customer's budget.We are sorry that ***************** does not see the value in the many hours of work put into her car, and we can only apologize that her expectations were not met for this project. We did not recommend pursing the project from the start, nor did we get the opportunity to finish it.
