    We hired this company to build a custom home. we noticed some red flags from the beginning, but unfortunately did not heed those warnings, as we tried to come up with explanations ourselves to what we encountered.Anyway, almost a year later, excavation is barely complete and no cured foundation. we even found out later/recently that they dug 9 feet deeper than they should have, and now we have to replace all of that with (expensive) rock!Very poor communication from the get go, poorly organized, scattered, and the list goes on and on...Finally, when we broke contract to go with another builder, they ended up taking a 40% as their fee. They even tried to make me pay one of their employees' payroll taxes (yes, you cannot make this up!).Be careful. do your research, and if something does not seem or sounds right, it's because it is not!!
