    On March 15th 2024 I ordered 4 pizzas- 3 12 1 cheese and 2 pepperoni and 1 14 hamburger mushroom, 2 orders of breadsticks, and 2 orders of cheese breadsticks. When I arrived the total was ***** and I gave a ***** tip. I was given all of the food, when I got home and was looking at it I told my husband wait I ordered a 14. We looked and I call the restaurant and told them about it and the lady I talked to said it is a 14 pizza the person working with her just put it in a 12box but I can assure you it is 14. My husband went and got a tape measure and checked and it shows 12. I was not upset about the difference about pay I was upset about the lie. My husband took the pizza back to show them and he asked to talk to the manager and was told he would be in tomorrow. My husband came home and I said well lets eat its whatever. Then I sit down with my family and went to eat dinner, the breadsticks were just a pizza crust way over cooked. I took a bit of the hamburger mushroom pizza and it smelt but thought maybe its just the mushrooms. I took a bite and spit it out instantly! The pizza tasted so rotten I had my dad try to make sure it wasnt just me and he about threw up! This pizza could have very well caused food poisoning had we ate the pizza. It was not just my dad and husband eating my 3yr old twins were also going to eat this! I went in on 03/16/2024 to talk with the manager/owner and I was polite and started to talk and the man would not let me talk he cut me off and said your not getting a refund if thats what your looking for. I was wanting to handle the situation between us and not having to go further. I was trying to explain the situation politely and he told me to leave or he was calling the cops. He did not even try to make things right nor was he willing to have a civil conversation. At this time now I would like a full refund.

    Reference is made to your letter dates March 18,2024 regarding a complaint tendered by the above-named individual, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. I was made aware of this incident the next morning by our store assistant manager. Apparently in an order of 4 pizzas, 3 were ordered 12" in diameter and 1 was 14" in diameter. unhappily this was a call-in order that we received during a dinner rush, and the 14" pizza was in fact on 12". This was our error.

    Complainant immediately filed a negative review on ****** rather than contact anyone in authority with our company. The customer did return to the restaurant later and harangued one of our employees concerning the issue. i was made aware of her visit and the ****** filing, and responded almost immediately. To rectify our error, I made an offer to refund the cost difference between a 12" 2 topping pizza and a 14" 2 topping pizza. A copy of her complaint and my response is attached hereto and made a part hereof. At no place in her complaint, with the exception of an order of breadsticks being perhaps too ***** for her taste, did she make any reference to an unpleasant food taste. 

    Upon inspection of her ****** review activity, I noted that all reviews of all restaurants were "one star" negative reviews and commented on that in my response on ******.

     

    The next day she came in, and demanded a full refund. I asked her why, and she began shouting loudly about some nebulous reference to a foot fungus. A reference, I did not understand. Because of her loud and disruptive behavior, i asked for her to leave the store as she was disrupting my customers. she continued to shout at me about her foot fungus and I dialed 911 to summon the police. At that point she decided she would leave, and did so, but first yelled at a table of customers sitting by the front door. Should you require verification of this conversation, it was captured on security camera footage at the bar where the altercation occurred. We maintain a 4.8 star review on yelp, a 5-star rating on ********* and a 4.3 star average on ******, and are proud of the quality of food we prepare and serve to our clientele. 

     

    I refute that her food was in any way substandard or inedible, and it is my opinion, and the position and opinion of this corporation that her activities are part of a continuing fraudulent scheme to obtain food from restaurants, eat the food, claim a fictitious issue, and then demand a full refund.

     

    No refund to this customer will be forthcoming.
