Business committed to provide me with a diagnosis for chronic fatigue but used bogus methods:I found ***************** through a ****** search. I was looking for a functional medicine practitioner with an MD. During my appointment on 7/17 at 2pm, my medical history was discussed and then a device called **** with a metal hand cradle was used. When I asked how it worked, ***** said that she wasnt a software programmer and could not explain how it worked. I also asked her nurse and she said I dont know how a fax machine works either and it reads your energy. The *** has issued multiple warnings to the company for misrepresenting its usage. On the **** website, these disclaimers are given: **** software has not undergone *** review for effectiveness. **** technologies are not intended to be used in the diagnosis, cure, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or medical condition. **** products have not been the subject of controlled clinical trials to establish their effectiveness. Based on the results from the **** device, I was given $350 worth of supplements before Id even had my labs done or read. The device also listed which emotions were out of balance and which affirmations I should do (attached).Advertising:Daviss medical expertise is repeated throughout her website (*******************************************************) in an attempt to lend legitimacy to her practice, but according to the ************** of Medical Specialties (********************) she is not board certified to practice medicine. There is also no mention that diagnosis will be made with the **** device, so no chance for the consumer to research and decide whether they'd like to proceed. How much/whether business tried to resolve:I paid $600 for this appointment to be diagnosed by a machine the *** says does nothing by a person claiming to be a doctor *** isn't one. I asked for my money back and the $350 for supplements was refunded but not the $600 appointment fee.
