    My spouse and I contracted with ******** ****** ********, ********************************************************************************* to coordinate our interstate move from *******, ** to *************, **. ******** ****** ******** then changed their name to ********* ****** ******** with the same address. ******** ****** ******** then contracted Meeg Moving LLC * ***************************************************************** to conduct our move. Meeg Moving has since moved to *****************************************************, ********, ** ***** using the same ** DOT No ******* and the same ICC/MC No ******* at both addresses. Both companies broke our Binding Moving Estimate ******** which includes the following services to be performed by the carrier: wrapping of all furniture with quilted moving blankets and providing an itemized inventory indicating condition at origin. Only a couple items were wrapped in quilts, several items were not wrapped at all and otherwise our furniture was wrapped in plastic only. When it was in plastic it was only partially wrapped after being in storage and by delivery **** *** ****. We have two items missing since delivery, a ************** Lawnmower and a Snapper Snowthrower, and 29 items severly broken and/or damaged. We have placed claims with a 3rd party company, Moving Claims. Moving Claims made it extremely difficult to submit photos by unrealistic stipulations that were challenging for tech support. Damages on our King ******* set were too innumerable to photograph all as we were limited to 2-3 photos/item. ******** ****** only advised us to file claims. Meeg Moving has not answered or returned any of our calls since delivery of furniture. In addition we never received a written or email receipt of our last credit card payment. Finally our household goods were to be delivered on ******. Communication was dropped by Meeg Moving for 5 days until ******* to then set up delivery on *******. $7,582.77 to Meeg Moving does not include the 1st payment to ******** ****** of $2968.80.

    Moved on 10 21, 2023 from *********** to *****, unpacked 10 23, 2023. Broker Eagle Moving *** assigned/contracted my move to Meeg Movers, which thru "******" there, appears not to have a DOT license, and ****** alleges he, Meeg, may go out of business. I pain a total of $19,,634.44 to this business, which uderestimated thru Eagle the total cost, raising same from $9,911.13 to the figure below. On arrival in ***** after a terrible job of packing & loading what I had not already packed and boxed, **** demanded the final payment I'd made by check, $8,606,.94 by credit card as well, or stated he'd pack my goods back up, and dump same at ***********! The check cleared, but **** has refused to reverse the **** charge it demanded 10 23 2023. ******, at Meeg, states he may go out of business and alleges he can't reverse charges, but 'maybe' he'd write a check for that double charge. He has not, 7 weeks later. *** has no record of this moving/ hauling co. **** did not weigh the load, nor did it keep any inventory of what it loaded and unpacked. Some fine furniture and other furniture is damaged. The original bill of lading read total charge $9,911.13 (9 27 2023) but Eagle or Meeg or a jobber of one or the other, upped the charge 10 17 2023, and forced me to sigh it, since it had my initial payment of $3,500.00 already charged to my credit card. The 'underestimation' of cost of move was Eagle/****'s agent's fault, not mine. It about doubled the cost of the move to me, profiting greatly from its error. Then it double-billed the final payment, collecting by credit card under duress, after I paid by a valid check. Refusing to reverse card charge now. I want 50% refund of the total cost and reversal of charge to my credit card. ****'s haulers walked off the job, refusing to connect bedstead and snuck out of the house. Eagle, and hauler, **** unjustly enriched themselves thru errors to their favor and use of duress to extract even more funds.

    Meeg Movers, LLC, has no* a**emp*ed *o resolve *his dispu*e.  I* has no* con*ac*ed me.  I called *he principal in ** shor*ly before filing *his reques* for arbi*ra*ion.  The responden*-principal refused *o refund *he double paymen* he forced me *o make on unpacking day here in OK, *hrea*ening *o remove my belongings back *o his van, and *ake my goods back *o *he origina*ion poin*. He alleged on *ha* call he was "unable" *o refund, he refused *o give me any credi* for packing *he 68 boxes I'd bough* from a 3rd par*y on my own dime.  He sugges*ed he "may' have *o go ou* of business.

    Meeg is no* a repu*able company.  He and his haulers (2) are all very recen*ly from ******, fi* *he descrip*ion of illegal immigran*s, don'* know how *o pack, and don' * care.  He should be disbarred from business, and inves*iga*ed for *rafficing. I was double-charged and rooked by *his company, which I now no*e has *errible reviews on *he in*erne*. He's been in business perhaps ************************************************************************************************ handling funds, such as mine.

    The first week of October 2023, we hired a moving company to move my mother's belongings to my home in *******. She has a serious medical condition and we needed a moving company that understood her needs. The company we chose contracted Meeg Moving to do the move and it was a disaster. They loaded her belongings without care and broke a few small items. The delivery driver showed up at my house alone with no help and I had to help unload. The main reason for the BAD review is that 1 very important package was missing, a collection of artwork that my mom did. Meeg Moving was immediately contacted and I let them know of the missing package and also that they left items that were not mine at my house. The owner contacted the driver and they were able to find the missing artwork at the next delivery. That was 2 weeks ago and they keep telling us they are shipping the artwork, but can never provide a tracking number. We have been told over and over that they are shipping it and they will call or email us the details. Now, they refuse to answer our calls and we still have not received the items.This "company" has been in business for a year and they have received horrible reviews. They are unprofessional and I will not recommend them to anyone.

    Contracted with Broker Eagle Moving Group who gave the job to pack and move me from ******** to ************ to Meeg Movers. Inventory included baby grand piano which was discussed with ******, and for which I paid an additional charge. **** refused to move piano, and did not complete packing. I had to engage another mover for piano and the 8 boxes they did not pack. Goods were supposed to be delivered 10/2. As of this writing on 10/11 I am still waiting for delivery. Meeg has communicated only twice: once by phone (10/4)to say the truck was in ********** (approximately 170 miles away) and then the next day (10/5)a text informing me their truck was in the shop and they would deliver the next morning. They did not. Moreover, they blocked me so that calls do not ring through but go straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full. Calls from another phone rang through before going to voicemail. I was able to leave a message.Daily calls to Eagle were pointless. They would say they contacted ****, asked to have the Driver call me and also said goods would be delivered tomorrow. Tomorrow never came.

    On August 15 and 16, 2023, MEEG Moving LLC moved my household furniture and items from ********************************************************* to ************************************************. I was expecting professional movers after paying $15,160. I had contacted National Moving Services ******************************************************************************* ************. I made the mistake of signing their contract. I did not realize National Moving Services only contracted with movers. I had contracted for 2 trucks, packing for a china cabinet, a barristers bookcase, a TV box, a box for a marble bureau top, and a box for a piece of glass.*************************** was the driver for MEEG Moving LLC. He showed up with one U Haul truck, U Haul blankets, U Haul tape, green plastic wrapping and apparently a daily crew. The crew was different the second day. Every wood piece of furniture is damaged from 2 badly chewed up corners on my 90 year old maple refractory table and scratched 6 chairs, the piano is scraped at the bottom, the maple twin bed is scraped, the oak roll top desk is scratched, the claw foot table is gouged on one leg, the piano bench is scraped, the lions head recliner is badly scratched, and a child oak chair has 2 dents. Tape residue was left on the *** an oak child's desk, and a file cabinet. Even a bicycle is dented. The movers used my tape and cardboard to pack the china cabinet, curio cabinet and barristers bookcase. They had no paid for boxes. I have never had a worse move.The china cabinet was put back crooked, the barristers bookcase wasn't stacked correctly, 6 shelves on the basement shelving unit were not level. ****** said I told him that everything was fine. That is not true. My new vinyl floor was scratched in 2 bedrooms and the entrance hall. I trusted that MEEG Moving LLC would provide a trained crew and 2 trucks with adequate suspension so that my possessions would not be damaged.****** was emailed pictures of the damage and has not responded.

    I contracted with ******** ****** ******** out of Del Ray Beach Florida to move from Illinois to Iowa on June 29th 2023. *** sub-contracted with Meeg Moving. Meeg Moving was supposed to show up between 8 am -12 pm on June 30. They did not show up until 2:00 pm.
    Part of my agreement with *** was that the moving crew would wrap the mattresses. I had 3 sets of mattresses. They did not wrap any. When I saw that they were not wrapping them, I asked them to and they agreed, but I got the feeling they did not know what I was talking about. Mattresses were never wrapped (see picture of mattress in truck). I contacted *** on July 7th to request a refund of $51.00. They said that Meeg Moving would be sending out a check. On July 19th, I called ******* the business owner and he informed me that the check would be going out the next morning. I have not yet received the check as of July 27th. I have been receiving my mail in a timely manner. I would like to receive a check for $51.00 as a refund for services not received.

    My guys put mattress covers on the mattress covers except one mattress.  I mailed the check over a month ago.  Either the customer did not receive the check I do not know what is going on.  We did issue her a refund for the mattress cover.  We are aware that the check has not been cashed.

    I am rejecting this response because:



    I personally witnessed that no mattress covers were present on any of the three mattresses, and I have not received a check.  If the business is aware that the check has not been cashed than they should be able to stop payment and send out a new check. The excuse "I do not know what is going on " is not an acceptable response.
